Great food. Very fresh and well prepared. Had the Salmon and it was prefect. Beet salad and artichoke dip was a great start.

Wanted to try Red Sky for lunch on October 13. Called, and the message said they were open at 11:30 every day so we set out. Found they didn't open until 4. Please update your answering machine information.
We had a large group and the dinner started off rough by one of the tables we were sat at was tilting so bad the waters were slipping down. We got a new table and it was still rough. However, we persevered and it didn’t get much better. Service was ok but food took awhile and didn’t all come out warm. I ordered the steak frites medium and it came out very well done. I didn’t have time to ask for them to remake it since we’d already been there so long. Even well done though it had an off flavor and usually I’m not super picky if it is well done by accident. The bills came out with extra charges and stuff too at the end. They did remove them and rectify but just another odd thing. No one from our group was overly impressed and everyone agreed we wouldn’t go back.
Great burgers! Wait staff was fantastic. They were also very accommodating for a shellfish allergy and used a pan on the grill and changed gloves, as to not cross contaminate.(kitchen is open, so I watched the process) Also the waiter immediately told me I wouldn’t be able to eat the fries due to cross contamination and subbed a salad for the same price. We will return on our next visit.
Had two meals there while in Duck. First was sensational. Second was so-so - thus the four star rating. My dining partners raved about their meals each time, especially the crab soup. Stuart and Travis waited on us on these two occasions and they both did a super job. Service could not have been better, though restaurant overall was a bit unprepared and disorganized on our first visit (they ran out of Bloody Mary mix and it was uncertain what drinks bar could and could not make) . Staff in general was very friendly and competent. Cocktails are superb (at least the ones that they could make). Trip from Kitty Hawk to Duck was bumper to bumper on the weekend, but I think this is par for the course.
We cannot rave enough about our Valentines dinner this evening. From the start to the finish the food was fabulous. Highly recommend!
This was an amazing surprise of amazement! Every single item was perfectly prepared and promptly served. Jack took excellent care of us. We had ribs and the southern selection which included flounder, shrimp, crab cakes and fries. We also had the tuna bites as an appetizer. Everything was perfect!
This business is called “Red Sky Casual Dining & Cocktails” We arrived around 4pm. If it weren’t for our gps, I don’t know if we would have noticed where Red Sky was located, as it’s in a shared building with a realty office. We were the only customers when we went in. The very friendly hostess seated us right away and the waitress greeted us quickly. We started off with the Creamy Crab Soup. It was delectable. For our main meals I ordered the Shrimp po Boy and a side crab cake, Hubby ordered their Shrimp and Grits & Daughter ordered pasta with butter. My po Boy was really delicious and quite filling I couldn’t even eat much of the fries, which were cooked perfectly (crispy and flavorful on the outside, soft on the inside!) I shared 1/2 my side Crab Cake with my hubby. It was really good. Loved the sauce they had on the side. He enjoyed his Shrimp and Grits and said it was flavorful. The Cellentani Pasta with butter wasn’t Al dente, but my daughter ate it all. Quite a darling place, but a bit overpriced. Though they have a small kids menu, it strikes me as more of an adult eatery with adult drinks available. High quality food, casual wear, a bit overpriced.
Went to Red Sky Cafe for lunch two days in a row and it was exceptional. The crab cakes were among the best ever. The owner, Wes, is top notch and very personable.
Very good meal here...my wife and I had the 14oz ribeye and the salmon with crabmeat. Both were very good. The keylime pie was outstanding!

A very nice experience with good food and service. We ate here twice this week and enjoyed both visits.
Red Sky has friendly service and excellent food. We have eaten here twice so far in our 2 week vacation and we will go back.
Our dining experience was excellent as always, we like healthier choices when dining out and the tastefully fit bowls are delicious
A good balance of seafood and dishes for non-fish eaters. The food was excellent, and plentiful. Service was attentive and served piping hot. A good choice for a good meal and a casual environment.
Overall, food was excellent. service was good. We initially had to wait a while for a server to come to our table. Crab dip was great!
