Best meal of the weekend for me the Mahi-Mahi special and staff was wonderful!

Good food. I had the shrimp and grits. Daughter got the fish tacos and she gave me one. Also, the carrot cake and blueberry cheese cake were enjoyable.

I was pleasantly surprised! Very cozy pub-like atmosphere with outdoor patio setting too. I got the fish tacos and the blackened fish bites and both were excellent! A nice ginger added to the fish tacos really brightened it up! I got the flower Power cocktail and it wasn’t too sweet. It was just perfect! Love talking to the bartender, Kim, will definitely go back!

Their claim to fame is fish tacos. They were good, but the fish was overcooked -- dry and crunchy. It was a little off-putting, but it didn't ruin the tacos. Still, I feel like they should have fish locked down by now. Pimento cheese appetizer is a winner, though!

The restaurant was nice, but kitchen was slow despite there not being many people there. Took us over 2 hours from the time we sat down to the time we left. A bit much! Fortunately the waitress kept our drinks topped off.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. They have a small kids menu, but even then, we had someone in the party who only ate a burger - they didn't have anything else he would eat.

I don't love leaving meh reviews, but it was definitely a meh experience. We tried eating here a few years ago and made the trip up only to find out they were closed for a private event and they told us to go to the backbar area that had limited food options that we weren't interested in.

We decided to give them another try this year because the reviews seemed to indicate they were worth it. Our experiences was just Meh.

We went earlier in the evening for dinner and brought a pup along to dine on the outdoor patio. With their walled in patio, it was so hot because there wasn't great airflow and we had to ask to turn fans on. It was a warm day, but we'd been shopping and sitting outside without issue since there had been a nice breeze elsewhere.

I love me a good clam chowder and I was excited to try this hyped up chowder. I was not impressed at all. Minimal clams and what was in there were tiny pieces, all the other veggies/potatoes were also in tiny pieces that gave it a boring texture. The flavor was fine, but definitely not something to write home about.

One person got the fish tacos, that was supposed to be blackened (per their menu). What was served didn't seem like any sort of blackened fish we'd ever seen... it seemed almost fried cubes rather than blackened and it was really over cooked and dry. The salsa on the tacos was good though

Another person got the chicken and rice and while the sauce flavor was good, the chicken breasts had a poor texture and seemed like the cheap bulk frozen bags of chicken breasts.

One person had iced tea and instead of bringing a new glass of tea... the waitress topped off the already small glass and poured like 3oz of fresh tea into the half glass of melted ice and tea remnants already in the glass... so the result was really watered down "tea" and no ice so it was not ideal.

So yeah... nothing horrible, but it was just meh.

Shrimp and grits were a scoop of bland grits with shrimp and brown gravy. Sucked. Worst meal of my vacation.

The food was way better than I expected. It was actually better than what we had at Kimball's Kitchen, and at a fraction of the price. They also had a top-notch beer selection.

Simply put, a terrible meal. Def not worth the money, even if it was half off. Just bad food: Tomato pie was flavorless salsa with cheese; shrimp & grits tasted like watered shrimp boil; and fish tacos were bland.

The first thing the serving staff said to us when we walking in was, "Just to let you know, we dont have a kid's menu." Um, Ok. Good evening to you as well! Lol We didnt think this was an Applebees, don't worry lady! Although we saw tables open, and the waitress told us she had a table ready, the waitstaff didn't seat us. It got really uncomfortable as we waited there without them making an effort. Decided to leave after 10 minutes waiting and them clearly not wanting us to stay. Dont want to spend money on a local place like that, not a good feeling at all.
