Our reservation was on Sunday, 7 September, at 10:30am. We both ordered crabs Benedict and after waiting found out that they were out of the crab. So, we then ordered Eggs Benedict and after a while found out that dish was also unavailable, with the waitress figuring they must have been out of holindaise sauce and didn't want to make any more for the day. I then ordered an omelette which was so outstanding that, in the end, I was glad they couldn't prepare and serve...
The food was absolutely incredible actually! I highly recommend the crab dip, burnt ends, and hush puppies. They were all very flavorful dishes. The rolls were amazing too. Sweet and fluffy. They also have a very nice wine selection to accompany the food. I had the tuna for my entree and it was cooked to perfection with the most delicious sauces and I got it with broccolini and roasted carrots. all very good. The friendly service team made this a very pleasant evening. Food is good - she-crab soup a particular hit and sea bass, while pricey, was well cooked with a delicious sauce. Nice choices of wines by the glass. Charming restored coastguard station.
