Great local restaurant with an extensive whiskey list. Service and food are outstanding. Reservations definitely recommended.
Overall it was a lovely experience. We had a lovely view of the sunset over the sound. Service was a tad bit slow but our server was very nice. The food and drinks were good.
We ate at bar as no tables available til afterv8pm on a Friday night. Definitely make reservations. Service was excellent, food was great although no Andouie sausage in shrimp & grits was a little disappointing. $38 for one crab cake is too high-it was large & delicious
Overall, it was a good experience. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and our server gave a great recommendation—the hush puppies were a standout, especially with the pepper jam. The seafood chowder was just okay, and the Caesar salad didn't quite justify the price—not bad, but nothing special. The ribeye was the special of the day; while the flavor was decent, it was overcooked (we ordered medium-rare and received medium). Given the high ratings, I think I was expecting a bit more from the food. We still had a positive experience overall—just not a “wow” one.
My wife and I slipped away from the family vacation to enjoy a late dinner at 7:30pm. The overall temperature in the restaurant had to have been 85 degrees with both staff and customers complaining about the heat. We waited around an hour for our food for two of us (which was great, compliments to the chef), and the host even came around and apologized for the wait. I'm not sure the value was there considering how sweaty my wife and I were by the time we had finished our food. I'm not the type of person to ever ask for a comped anything, but given the wait and heat inside the place it would have been nice to have an extra cold drink sent to the table. At least that's what I would have done in their shoes.
the food was great and the service was friendly and knowledgeable.
We were disappointed in the quality of the food for the price. Service was fine, Brad our server seemed disappointed that we wanted to share a meal. All in all I would not recommend your restaurant.
Excellent food and service with beautiful view of the water. What more could you want? There were 8 people in our group, and everyone was extremely pleased with their dinner.
Thoroughly enjoyed the outside dining. Food was excellent. We loved the Hush Puppies and Calamari. Fish of the day was Monk fish and it was delightfully prepared.
Like places that take reservations! The food came out hot and tasty! Do yourself a favor and get the goat and feta hushpuppies with honey butter. Oh my!!! They only had one option for fish of the day... flounder. Would have expected more variety. But everything we ordered was amazing!! Tuna Poke, seafood chowder, tuna Niçoise salad. I would definitely eat here again. Server was attentive and friendly.

Our waitress was amazing! Food was delicious. The scallops were fabulous! Definitely recommend.
Food was outstanding. hush puppies and fried green tomatoes were excellent share appetizers. Seafood(after all it is the Outer Banks) in the form of grilled tuna as well as shrimp were very good. The wild boar meatloaf was filling and had a mushroom based gravy that accentuated its flavor. Lastly the fruit cobbler- fresh blueberries/cranberries/strawberries along with vanilla ice cream was also well worth it. Service was also very good-attentive without being excessive. The beers-as always here- provided a broad range of small brewery draft choices
Great experience for birthday dinner. We had great service and food. Also appreciated that they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
The seared sea scallops is in my top five best meals I've ever eaten. The service was excellent and the view overlooking the water and watching the sun set was beautiful. It was a little pricey but not astronomical, especially for a beach town waterfront restaurant. I would definitely come back the next time we are in the outer banks.
Great good, friendly staff, perfect view. We will definitely return
