My absolute favorite place to go to, but PLEASEEEE for the love keep up with your hours!!! On your website it says only closed Mondays, on google it says closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and then I called and it says only open on the weekends. I don’t want to waste my time driving all the way there for it to be closed but come on every year and every season is so inaccurate. I love this place but this is so annoying

UPDATE: Made the mistake of trying this horrible establishment again only to find that their hours are INCORRECT on their website. What a waste of a trip.
Very pretentious café. I wasn't impressed by the atmosphere at all. The staff is clearly better than you are. There were misspellings on their specials signs. Almost $10 for a sandwich. I passed on purchasing anything. Tables left gross and unattended. Staff walked by multiple times without removing the disgusting trash and left over food particles from the table. Waited nearly 30 minutes for a granola cup. But I guess it makes sense that a pretentious place like this would make you wait for something as pitiful as a $8.50 bowl of granola. We should have just settled for all the dead insects on their windowsills. That would have been cheaper and quicker.

This is our go to place for breakfast when in Duck. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious and coffee is really good. Plus the location in Scarborough Faire is scenic and a pleasure to walk around. Highly recommended.

My family visited this restaurant on Thanksgiving morning after the 5K run that my son-in-law was in. It was very busy, but it did not take hardly any time to order. We found a table and really did not have to wait that long for as packed as it was. I was super impressed with the service and the food. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and was surprised at how huge it was. I ate what I could and ate it again the next morning. I grew up eating cat head biscuits, but have not seen one in a long time. That was definitely what is called a cat head biscuit in Alabama. Very good memory. Thanks

You get this until I here back after my sons leg was gouged by a wreath on your door and a nasty young lady who said I don't work here I'm just decorating, but I thought it was rude she didn't even apologize and she was so rude!!!!!
Thank you so much for responding. The young lady was so terrible. No need to fix- just wanted you to be aware
Coffee is amazing as always- we will be in again soon!

Welcome to Treehouse Coffee, the caffeine canopy you never knew you needed. Nestled under a tangle of trees, it’s part hideout, part haven — and all heart-roasted magic.
First, it's the long wait — a slow, leafy meditation broken by the promise of caffeine. Then the moment arrives: you step inside and it’s like diving into a whirlpool of aroma and energy. Orders fly, steam hisses, the baristas move like synchronized squirrels, and you clutch your cup, scanning the room for moderately quiet refuge. Victory is that one tiny table in the corner, basking in the glow of triumph and espresso. Visit on an empty bladder, the eternal wait for the shop’s single, mythical bathroom is never-ending.
The coffee doesn’t just wake you up — it revives your spirit. Brewed with a kind of leafy zen that only happens under trees, each cup tastes like a small triumph. Then there are the biscuit sandwiches: huge, buttery beasts of happiness, baked fresh and stacked high with eggs, cheese, and all sorts of glorious mess. You need two hands, a napkin, and no shame.
You’ll need napkins. Lots of them. Maybe even a towel.
Then a long, reflective walk along the boardwalk to remember who you were before that biscuit happened to you. Cheers!

Super cute cafe a little hidden away from the main road. Tons of seating both indoor and outdoor! Quick service even though they were busy.

Cool place but coffee and tea were lukewarm and mediocre. $10+ for 2 small drinks.

Surprising little café tucked in amongst the shopping village boardwalks. Exquisite brunch menu (hash, omelets, wild French toast combos), delicious coffee and tea selections, kind/capable staff. Can often be a line (but with many popping in for only coffee, goes quickly). Inside seating is minimal, limited porch seating, but on busier days the outdoor picnic table seating is extensive (with umbrellas). Will return!

One of the better coffees we had while in OBX. The drip coffee felt fairly priced and wasn’t as watered down as other places we went to. The ambience was cute and the biscuit with chicken apple sausage was pretty good!!
My husband and I stopped here with our dogs to get me a coffee and both of us something to eat before our drive back to WV. I ordered online so we didn't have to wait too long and could get on the road quicker. Our food ordered was done a little later than the estimated time I was given but not too much after. The reason for less stars on service is due to no one greeting me when I came in. I observed the gentleman running the food orders being polite to the customers dining in and those waiting for pick-up/take-out, like myself. They have a variety of flavors to add to their large beverage selection. I ordered an iced latte with lavender and vanilla and it was so good. We also ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit (fire!!!!) and Chicken Apple and Brie Biscuit. Both were so good! I don't think I have heard my husband talk about a chicken biscuit ever as much as he raved about the Nashville biscuit while he ate it. It was so good! Definitely spicy but so good! $20 for a sandwich is a little much but we're used to those prices living in NOVA, so that wasn't much of a turnoff, especially considering how good it was.
We are already planning to return on our trip next year.

The biscuits are so good! The portions are big and very filling. The prices are high but that is expected being in the OBX. That being said, the food was great so we didn't feel like we didnt get our money's worth.
100% would recommend!
