This place reminds me of B's BBQ in Greenville nc I didn't think that B's could be beat but this place is much better all around i had some business in Mt Olive and ask about a place to get bbq and this is where I was told to come so glad I did I will be back for sure.
Absolutely the best BBQ and fried chicken anywhere in Eastern North Carolina! The service is always great and this family run business is a true hidden gem. They are the only restaurant that I have ever eaten at that proudly displays a Golden A sanitation grade and have maintained it for over 20 years! No matter what you order it's going to be the best you've ever had and it will be served from the heart because they take pride in everything they do!
I'm an eastern North Carolina native and have had all the BBQ. I love it all, truly. Each of them have something to admire; their flavor, their story, their location. But none beat Grady's. This is, in my opinion, the best BBQ in the state. It's perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's not greasy. It just melts in your mouth. Everything I have ever had from here is just incredible, as are the people that run it. And do yourself a favor, save room for some banana...
