I’ve eaten a lot of barbecue in my life and this is by far some of the best I’ve ever had. The flavor is amazing and you can tell they take much pride in their product. The slaw is the absolute best I’ve ever tasted. We got bbq and slaw to take home but should have ordered 5 times as much as we did. If you are ever looking for great authentic NC BBQ look no further because Grady’s is the realest.
I cringe a little writing a review of a place like this. People often put me on the spot asking my opinion of the best BBQ in the Carolinas (as if there's decent BBQ elsewhere😂). I never pick a favorite, but just between me and you, this is it. Then when the NY Times epicurean tour bus pulls up here, I die a little. Best Eastern NC BBQ I’ve ever had, best coleslaw I’ve ever had, tied for best sweet potato pie I’ve ever had. Fantastic people and spectacular food. I’ll be back, and so should you!
