It's a roach, in my roast pork. I got a refund but help me Jesus. It was gigantic, good portions at least... it tasted good until now. Take a risk if you like the surprise I guess

Fall of an empire. I used to come here once a week in the mid 2000's. You could order General Tso's for the table and they would bring out a giant bowl of it and fried rice. Hands down was THE BEST Chinese food in NC. Unfortunately it seems that over time the quality has been scaled back. Now the food is the low end of generic Chinese fast food. The inside of the restaurant has also gone down hill. It used to be nice cozy dining room, now it looks more like a cold sterile mall food court. Though the awesome 3d horse picture is still on the wall, which seems to be all that remains of a once great restaurant.The rice was hard and dry, the pork in it was tough like jerky. The General Tso's had the texture of reheated fried chicken that was tossed in sauce last minute.
I absolutely love this place! First time going today. The best crab rangoon ? Don't even get me started on the beef lo mein ❤️ You get WAY more then what you pay for. Finally, I found an AFFORDABLE and AMAZING Chinese food. Very hard to come by now a days. The service is top notch! The lady up front was so sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was peaceful. I really like how the dining room is separate from the waiting/order area. I have no complaints. This place is amazing and deserves 30 stars

Nice people, great fast service! Always very fresh and good quality. My go-to is the sweet & sour chicken combo with delicious pork fried rice and egg roll; with a side of crab Rangoons (Huge).
The food is satisfying and the service is good but Bamboo house close entirely too early. I called after 9 on a Saturday night and they were closed.

The food was delicious and tasted fresh. It was very hot when served, and service was good. You pick your meal and pay before seating. The dining area wasn't too good of an atmosphere it looked more like a storage area. The place was stacked with boxes .

The owners are a husband and wife. I moved from NY where they make top notch Chinese food. After trying many places and being disappointed, I found Bamboo House. This place has the best tasting Chinese food.Towards the end of the night I see them cleaning the whole place.They’re very kind and always smiling. Other Chinese takeout places seem rude and dismissive. A+Vegetarian options: You can customize you order with the lady. She is very accommodating.
