Absolutely loved this place. Kinda in the middle of no where but amazing. Wasnt too busy and the amazing lady behind the counter chatted with me awhile, and can tell she has the same passion for good beer myself. More breweries need people like her. Loved the beer and made a sandwich to enjoy. Left with a bunch of their bottles. Really awesome addition to my trip.
By far my favorite brewery in the triangle area. Delicious, unique beers in a beautiful setting with very friendly workers. What more can you ask for??
Great place! Friendly staff. Interesting beer. Some is great, some is good, but its always a fun and different experience. My only complaint is that I wish they would label their beers for common allergens. Their beer has a ton of ingredients, and it can be difficult if you have severe allergiesto nuts/dairy/whatever. Life with allergies sucks. It's nice to feel confident your beverage choices won't put you out of commission for a few days.
Really cool place! Very friendly staff. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious stouts and the best sours anywhere. I’m not a sour fan but the ones here I like a lot. The drinks are like desert. Pic is of the chocolate, strawberry, vanilla stout. Also had the hazelnut, coconut, peanut stout.
Came from Charlotte to visit the home of my wife’s all time favorite beers. Barrel Culture makes the absolute best sours we have ever tried. I enjoyed their blonde ale and saison very much. The staff (Ben and Alicia) are the best we have ever met at any brewery or restaurant. They are genuine people, and they are there to ensure you have the best experience. The place is perfect for those with dogs and children. Plenary of diverse areas to enjoy. We plan to drive back from Charlotte for a day visit soon - it is well worth the trip!
very unique and flavorful selection!
Great selection of types of beer. very good doppelbock and sours.
Excellently crafted beers and a great little patio sour rounded by big pine trees.
Very cool warehouse feel to the place on the outside, but new and well-kept on the inside. It seems most of their beers are sours which is good if you're into that kind of thing. They do seem to be a bit on the pricey side, tbh. I would go back though.
I've been to Barrel Culture multiple times in the last 6 months and it's now one of my favorite breweries in the triangle. This is a popular place among my work friends now and we love to head here for happy hour. When I mentioned I didn't think i was a sours person once, Ben poured me a few samples that quickly changed my mind. Now I know that I love certain types of berry sours and I always like to try their new batch brews!I also recently cohosted a Reunion here and they have a wonderful event space in the back. Caroline was so responsive as we were planning, even taking the time to meet one on one with us. The crew here did so much to make our event special by setting up tables with linens, providing ice that they acquired specifically for our event, and helping us with the slideshow and music when we arrived. The bartenders here really went above and beyond and everyone had a great time. The space itself is really nice. The private event room also leads directly to the patio. There's tons of room to spread out and mingle. There is a private bar in the back that you can request a bartender for but we stuck with the main bar in the front for more access to different taps. Thanks so much Barrel Culture!

Had a great time relaxing with a beer (or two) before jumping on a plane. Awesome spot and Ben was very friendly! We’ll definitely come back next time we are in town!
Great outdoor brewery!!! As someone who believes sours are the future this place nails it. Don't worry they have others as well but it was so fun to see a diverse selection of sours
This place is huge! There is seating outside in the front, more private outdoor seating in the back, indoor seating, and even a barrel room which was perfect for stand up comedy! The night I went there was even a food truck. Will be coming back for more comedy and great beer!
Great beers! Great location! Excellent staff!Plenty of seating outside, at the front bar, and in the back barrel room. Vibe and customers are always pleasant.
Stopped in on a visit to Durham and was blown away! Had a great sour and a perfect Double IPA brewed with honey for the sugar. Like a cross between a mead and an IPA. I love theor unique style.
