I drove out of my way to get fried oysters. I’m so sorry that I did. They were the worst I have ever had. Very “fishy” taste to them. Good oysters do not smell. The coating was very over done on the outside and still wet on the inside. I spit out the first one. Tried another and spit it out and cut my losses. I tried to eat the Mac n Cheese, hoping it would be better, but it was just something you’d get prepackaged from a restaurant supply. So I tried the fried okra… just as bad. Hard on the outside and cold in the middle. Only canned soda, and no diet options. I will not be back.

Clean facility, good sanitation score, friendly professional staff. The shrimp was perfect, delicious, the fries were okay. The sides is where I felt disappointed. The hush puppies were too doughy and lacked flavor. The Mac n cheese was pitiful. Cheese sauce with salt and pepper over overcooked macaroni noodles.

My first time I visited here and man did they hook me up and take care of me. I got the choose three option had the fried catfish, trout, and flounder and couldn't have been more happy.Everything fried to perfection. Big portions. Great service.

I usually eat here on Friday's. We get two fish platters and usually it is very tasty. Went last night and the greens were undercooked and no seasoning, the macaroni had little cheese and was cold, the fish was under seasoned. I will go back again and hope that yesterday was just a one off. Staff is always friendly, I suggest calling ahead to avoid the wait. Overall we love this place.

It was my first time, and I ordered chicken hibachi. What a mistake! They should take it off the menu and stick with just frying fish. I did give them another chance and order a fish platter, which was good. The French fries were not season.

The customer service was good an all very welcoming but the chicken had no seasoning and the macaroni was so dry I choked. The catfish was not good at all, very bland. The fries were unseasoned and tasted freezer burnt but the hushpuppies, green beans and lemonade was good. I’ve been ordering from here for a few years and it has just gone downhill.. there’s no reason to have a customer on hold for 5+ min and then have the nerve to have an attitude. The food is sooo basic now like i got chicken tenders.. there’s no reason a black restaurant is messing up tenders nie y’all need to really do better.
