Three of us had the red snapper special. It was outstanding! The 4th had a large Greek salad that was as beautiful as it was delicious.
We make an effort to have lunch every few weeks. Lamb pita and Greek salad are favorites, or great smooth lemon chicken soup. The flight of 3 brûlée custard flavors is a treat. Ice tea has real flavor. Servers know their job very well.
Bleu Olive never disappoints. Our food was great. Service impeccable and friendly. It was crowded but we had a reservation. Lots of energy. We will be back, of course.
Bleu Olive never fails to offer an excellent meal and wonderful service. The grilled octopus was amazing and the fish of the day was as well. Our waitperson was pleasant and attentive, but not overly so. The Caesar salad could have had a little less dressing but that's about the only negative of the whole experience.
Four of us went on an early Monday evening to celebrate recent marriages. We had a great time, starting with Markers Mark Manhattans. The appetizers (tasting of spreads, oysters and calamari) were excellent. The main courses were also excellent with the Plaki Snapper particularly well prepared. We all enjoyed our desserts as well with the Pots de Creme a big hit. Our server was Antonio, who as always, provides terrific service.
Service: polite, formal, and spot-on. Atmosphere: Subdued, cozy, gentle, roomy, and well-apportioned. Food: Excellent! Bleu Olive's presentation, cleanliness, and service inspire confidence in quality.
Everything was delicious. But the spiced crème brûlée was the absolute best that I've ever tasted. I even bought an additional crème brûlée to bring home for my daughter to try, and she loved it as well.
Great food and service and perfect for celebrations. It's my favorite restaurant in Durham.
I was very disappointed by this place because I'd heard such good things.
It was loud and smelled fishy. The food was overcooked and we had to track down the waiter several times. The sweet tea was gross as they decided to add some extra herbs to it no one asked for.
Maybe worse of all was the baklava didn't taste homemade or fresh at all.
We will not be back.

Had a wonderful early lite dinner. The artisan salad, blue crab soup and fried oysters were all excellent. The server was very kind and efficient. The ambiance was pleasant. This will be a new go to place for my wife and me!

Seating was immediate and server appeared quickly. Food was served quickly and very well prepared. Our server, Lila, was attentive and efficient all while managing several other tables. She was excellent. We will ask to sit in her section when we visit again. Thank you!
As always the food and service were top notch. This is our go-to restaurant in North Durham.
Love the menu at Bleu Okive. More options to choise from than at most greek restaurants. We love the polenta with veggies & the fish dishes.
Blue Olive has a great staff serving great Mediterranean specialties. It has a good wine list with all varieties represented. Service was exceptional, un rushed and professional. We had a mezze starter , and shrimp and lamb entrees. They were all excellent.
Went with my sisters, brothers in law and 2 cousins. 8 people total. We loved the hummus- smooth, savory and perfect texture. Good grape leaved. Great steaks, shrimp, moussaka, salads and dessert. Wonderful service..
