First time at Bob Evan's , we were very excited to try it. I had the steak tips with mushrooms hashbrowns and eggs. The portion of meat and mush was very small looked near 2 oz not to mention burnt oddly on one side under on the other. The hashbrowns were gray and tasted of old oil and the portion was less than a 1/4 cup. The kitchen needs serious help. It's not right to send out food that horrible. If executed with any care or passion this dish should have been a hit. The fact that it was plated and ran to the table let me know all I need to know.

Food did not seem fresh and tasty. The prices was fair. I prefer the breakfast selection. Their breakfast menu won't let you down.

Sausage links and home fries overcooked on one side. Over easy eggs we're served on the cool side.

I had a bad experience in this restaurant. I waited for a long time to get seated and while we were waiting 2 family’s left before being seated and once we finally did get seated we wait for a really long time and they walked past us and ignored us and they looked like they were underemployed and were overwhelmed even though there weren’t that many people. In the end after the drinks we just left.

We have dined here and purchased to-go numerous times since moving here in 1998. Generally foods is great and service is acceptable. Not this time with our to-go order.
Purchased 2 quarts of soup the week of Chrismas, 1 chicken noodle and 1 cheddar potato.
Chicken had large chunks of chicken and needed to be chopped/shredded, mostly broth and very sparce on noodles. Flavor was 'off', not the usual taste but we consumed it. Cheddar was spoiled, potatoes were green/black and the taste was that of old/dated soup having set in a cooler for far too long. Tasted it and tossed the rest.
Waited in line to pay for the product which took 10 or 12 minutes, staff standing around on their phones, in what appeared to be private/personal conversations, no one, including supervisor, came to assist to speed the process while 3 of us waited behind a customer paying her bill.
I suspect this restaurant, given lack of supervision and management, will soon follow the local Red Lobster and Applebees and close their doors too. Best guess, we have dined for dinner and breakfast well over 100 times in 25 years and this was out last visit. Former manager (Jay) would have been walking the floors, greeting customers, serving food, cashiering, seating guests and 'training'. Such a shame. The strong work ethic and continual training is simply wishful thinking today.

Need to use a better ground beef patties for the smothered beef patties with onions and gravy. The patties was so thin and hard to chew. Very disappointed.
We had pre-ordered the Thanksgiving home cooked meal. The food did not seem to be the same as eating in. Everything was over salted. The mashed potatoes 🥔 were better than you could buy from the grocery store. The turkey and ham should have equal portions. People like to have a little turkey and a little ham when having a Thanksgiving meal. Everyone was great when we picked the meal up.

Consistently bad service. It’s not the server’s fault. She needs help and training. No reason another server can’t help out. Aaaand that’s bad management. Came for lunch today and the sweet girl who was our server certainly tried. She had not confidence in anything she did, but she did try to communicate well which was appreciated. Food was fine except for the pancakes, which were inedible.
It’s just never been good. I love BE’s sausage gravy and biscuits. But to have to go through the dining experience to get it is just not worth it at this location. Management needs to step it up.
