The food is really good but it would be nice if they had a smaller pasta and chicken for kids so we could go more often. I'm not willing to pay 2x$13 for them to eat noodles and a bite of chicken so having a kid option would be nice. The bowls themselves are terrific and a good value.

Kid-friendliness: They didn't have kids menu so just add noodles to yours and feed them off yours as there's plenty of food in the bowls. Mine are slightly too old to just share ours not they don't have any kids meals so you'll end up paying the full $13 price plus $2 for noodles for a half empty bowl once the kids are done with the "I didn't want that's"

While the Kimchi Chicken Sandwich boasted a promising interplay of textures and flavors, the execution leaned towards the heavy side. The fried chicken, though undeniably satisfying, proved somewhat overwhelming in conjunction with the bread and fries. While the individual components were well-prepared, the overall composition lacked a certain lightness and balance.

Vegetarian options: They have Kimchi

Dietary restrictions: N/a

Parking: Park where you can

Kid-friendliness: Oh yeah

Wheelchair accessibility: Theres handicap spots

The food is not bad for the price, I’ve had a few things off their menu, and haven’t been disappointed with anything.

Food is list at a specific price. At checkout they at a “service tip” which isn’t included in the original price and then they ask you for a 20% tip because “gratuity not included” in the new total. I’m sorry but this is just a rip off and fraud. You are advertising your food at one price and then charging a completely different price.

They had a special on a katsu chicken sandwich so we tried two different ones. My SO had the Kimchi and I had the California (which I liked best). They were so good. The chicken had a nice crispy coating and was hot and juicy. The flavors were spot on. We also tried the Bulgogi spring rolls too, tasty. Dang y’all, I’m still dreaming about that chicken sandwich.

I decided to try bul box for the first time, and I wanted the Katsu bowl to go. The staff was working to fill orders and did not acknowledge the 4 customers waiting in front of them. As stated, this was my first time. I had no idea what to do. I watched for about 2-3 minutes and finally I asked how do I get an order. And only then, someone acknowledged. If the staff is going work this way, maybe bul box should invest in signage to explain how to place and order for takeout. Oh yeah the food was okay. I’m not sure if the dish was supposed to be hot or cold. Since the chicken had to be cooked, the only thing that was warm in my bowl was the chicken. I’m sure if the vegetables were to be cold or what. This just my opinion and observation as a paying customer. I’m sure they must be doing well because the lack of customer service and the steady flow of traffic was constant. For me, I want be back.

Great food, yes it’s pricy but usually tastes fresh. You can get gluten, dairy or whatever you want free. I prefer the Kona with rice. Super delicious and nice location.

The rice is so bad I don’t think I’ll order from here again unless I get a bowl that doesn’t include rice. The image showed herbs used to flavor it, but that is not the case. It is the most basic, low quality, poor tasting rice you can get in America and one you would never find in Asia.Chicken was dry. Vegetables were nice.

A good fast casual place for food including healthy options! The Durham location is great as well since it is next a cocktail bar and a brewery!

Bul Box is a regular rotation on my team's catering choices. They LOVE the healthy menu; it doesn't weigh us down in the middle of the day after lunch. The food has always been fresh and delicious and well seasoned. They offer plenty of options on the side to spice it more, if that is your preference. Love this place.

Vegetarian options: EXCELLENT options, you build your own box, any preference is easily accommodated. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian? No problem!
