Fantastic local find! The food is delicious home cooking, and the dish selection is excellent. Don't skip the coffee it's truly outstanding. Love that they support the community by carrying many local Durham products. Great service made our visit perfect.

Nice little place with seating, plenty of space, ok coffee, good wifi, nice staff.
Downside, they are cleaning the tables and windows all day, which is good, but the strong chemicals they use make the place smell like a YMCA pool (lots of chlorine) - maybe do that type of cleaning after hours, and just wipe down the tables with soapy water during open hours. The food is also bland and watery.
Would not come to eat here, but not bad for a coffee and remote work.

I’ve only gotten the hashbrowns and vegan oatmeal cookie and both are great. The tofu is seasoned well and is nice and citrusy. They use local ingredients and reusable everything, great vibes all around.

Andrea with Offline - Went right after they opened on Sunday morning for breakfast! You order at the counter, get a number, and then find a seat — I actually really like this setup since it lets you just relax and enjoy your food once it’s ready. We tried the açaí bowl, bagel with cream cheese, and the Hangover Cure sandwich. Everything came out super fast and tasted incredibly fresh! The place started filling up quickly by around 9 AM, so it’s clearly a local favorite. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We love Bull and Bean! It’s a great spot for brunch on the weekends. Every seasonal oat milk latte I’ve had there has been delicious, and I love being able to get a smoked salmon meal! I also appreciate being able to get turkey sausage as an option here. Would love to see a GF English muffin option in the future for Benedicts :)

If you're new here it can be overwhelming to come in, look at a menu quickly, and have to order at a counter. The staff at the counter were ok but not very welcoming. The food came out decently quick for a early breakfast. Everything was made to order and arrived hot. The table cakes were quite large but mediocre quality. The French toast was very good, and the best thing we had. The rest of our meal was very average and not worth the price we paid for it.

This place was okay but really had the chance to be better. I walked in and didn’t know if I should order food at the counter or if it was just for coffee. All 3 people behind the counter acted like they didn’t see me acting confused not wanted to help at all. The ordering experience made me want to leave but I was too far in. Had to constantly repeat myself because the cashier was distracted. I found a table after ordering and a bug crawled out of the handful of straws we got and was crawling on the table. I trapped it under the paper shaker. The food was lacking, unfortunately. I got the hangover cure breakfast sandwich and it was missing the chipotle mayo. My sister got the huevos ranchero and they missed the cheese substitute she paid an up charge for. I ordered an iced mocha and it tasted like only milk. Parking was good though! We will have to rethink about coming back.
