Love this place!!!! Everyone is always so kind here. I try to come in on Sundays because I work in the area. Those butter toffee crunch cookies have me in a chokehold!!

The staff graciously accommodated my need for a cake that served 20 people! It was delicious and a crowd pleaser! I also tried their sea salt chocolate chip cookie which was divine! Will be back!

Although the chocolate muffin was a little dry, EVERYTHING else was amazing. I cannot recommend the pudding enough, we will definitely be back! They're so friendly and kind.

Because my family has wildly different tastes in cakes and desserts, we usually get a selection of cupcakes for birthday celebrations. I found Bull City Bake Shop through Google Maps and was able to place an order through their website in the early morning to be picked up half an hour after they opened.

The cupcakes were ready for us when we got there and my husband noticed some banana puddings in the display case. My family enjoyed every single cupcake flavor and my dad was very impressed with the banana pudding and its made-from-scratch flavors. HIGHLY recommended.

We will be coming back.

ETA: apparently I cannot leave a second review, so I will state here that I had another fabulous experience with Bull City Bake Shop. I needed to order cupcakes for a baby shower with a punk rock theme, and going in had the idea of basic cupcakes with black icing and such. The bakers explained what a bad idea black icing can be, as it leaves stains on the teeth for days, and worked with me to add decorations that blended with the theme (see photo). Everyone at the party raved about how good the cupcakes were. Bull City Bake Shop will continue to have my business at every opportunity.

This place is phenomenal. I didn’t know it was there, but my roommate and I decided to pay it a chance visit after shopping nearby one day, and I’m glad we did. Not only was everything I got absolutely delicious (lemon cupcake with cream cheese icing, fudge brownie, pumpkin muffin, chocolate sea salt cookie—yum!), but the woman at the counter was so kind and had wonderful customer service. She helped me pick out the best desserts when I couldn’t decide. I will absolutely be visiting again and I’m very excited to try more of the variety they have to offer!

I hired Bull City Bake Shop for a cake for my daughter's graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill. It was definitely the best tasting cake I have ever had. It looked amazing and exceeded my expectations all around. They were also so easy to work with!
