I ordered my wedding cake from Capital Cakes. The cake was so beautiful and delicious. Our guests absolutely loved it. Katelyn made sure that the color is what we want and she was on time about delivering the cake. We will definitely order from her again in future :)

Beautiful and delicious cake, and they were able to do it short notice. I really enjoyed designing the cake over email! I am not very creative but they took my basic parameters and made a wonderful fall themed cake for my wife's birthday. Thank you!

I ordered a cake here for my friends birthday and we all absolutely loved how it turned out. The cake was exactly what I asked for and it was soo beautiful! We picked vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream and it was phenomenal!! Would definitely order again!

My partner and I got a tasting box to sample the available flavors and then ordered a 3-tier cake for the ~80 guests at our wedding. The cake looked beautiful and matched the 'simple and elegant' classic wedding cake design that we had in mind. More importantly, it tasted delicious.

The website was easy to use and it was straightforward to find the information on cake sizes and pricing.

We loved our wedding cake! We tried 5 different cake shops in the triangle area and this was our favorite. Not only was it beautiful on the outside but the chocolate ganache was to die for. Everything was customizable and the cake and stand was delivered to our venue.

We used Capital Cakes for our wedding. Katelyn did an absolutely amazing job with our cake and cupcakes! She helped us get the design just right and was so easy to work with, and the cake was gorgeous. The cake and the cupcakes were delicious, and our guests raved about the desserts. We couldn't be happier with her work, and we will definitely order from Capital Cakes again in the future.

When I saw Katelyn’s work for wedding cakes, I prayed that she would be available for our wedding because WOW–her work is just stunning. The cake she made for us was exactly what we were hoping for and more. She got everything from the color to the texture to the taste just right. I cannot even begin to describe how delicious her cake tasted. We also ordered gluten free and vegan cupcake options–I could have just had those at our wedding and been happy; they were delicious. I cannot recommend Capital Cakes enough–Katelyn is a master at her craft!

We used capital cakes for our daughter’s aviation themed birthday this past weekend. All I can say is WOW, we got soooo many compliments on the cakes on how beautiful and delicious they were. She worked with our color scheme and sketches and worked her magic to create these beautiful cakes. You pay for the quality you get. Absolutely amazing, I couldn’t recommend more! Pickup was easy and cakes were secure the whole drive home.

Working with Katelyn was great! She responds to emails quickly and was able to make our cake with a quick turnaround. Also, the most important part, our cake was AMAZING! My wife has a gluten allergy so the cake was gluten free but you couldn't tell, it was the best cake (gluten free or gluten full) that I've ever had!

Capital Cakes made my wedding cake and did an AMAZING job. We ordered a sample box ahead of time, and we could hardly choose between the different flavors because all the cake flavors and fillings were so delicious. Katelyn's cake is so moist and fluffy! She was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. She made sure that our cake fit within our budget, and she advised on the decorative aspects. In the end, we decided on a 4-tier cake with 2 tiers of marble/chocolate buttercream, 1 tier of apple/apple cinnamon buttercream, and 1 tier of spice/cinnamon buttercream. We bought our own pressed autumn leaves, which Katelyn arranged beautifully on the cake the day of the wedding. We were very happy with the presentation, and every slice was delicious. We plan to use her again for birthdays, because this is now our favorite cake in the area!

Working with Capital Cakes was a great experience, and my husband and I loved the way our wedding cake looked and tasted! We saved the top tier and had it on our 1st anniversary - it was still super delicious!

I was so thankful she was able to take my order a week out for a surprise Birthday I was planning from out of state. I sent an inspiration photo and she did an amazing job recreating the cake! The cake was delicious and I highly recommend Capital Cakes!

I was beyond thrilled with the experience and Katelyn's obvious baking talent! Katelyn took my design ideas and nailed them 100% perfectly. Not only did the cake look amazing, but it tasted INCREDIBLE. Delicious and beautiful - what else could you want from a cake? Katelyn was also responsive and easy to work with. I recommend Capital Cakes very highly!
