China Palace is a small, family run restaurant. The food is excellent, and more authentic than many. The service is casual, pleasant, and prompt. The no frills atmosphere is reminiscent of Joyce Chen's all Eating Place.

My friend and I ate there today (Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024) for the very first time and were very pleased with the two dishes we had: General Ching's Batter Chicken and Moo Shoo Vegetable dishes. They were both delicious and generous servings. We will be back and also recommend the restaurant to others!

This is like literal oil water, every single dish. It is absolutely terrible food. You can taste the dirty rag they use to clean the wok after each meal. Worse then 1 star.

Food order wings, spring roll, beef and broccoli and chicken lo mein. I have dined in a bunch of 5 star Chinese restaurants. I give it a 2 because the only thing that was good was the spring roll. The wings were cut in half instead of a full wing, they tasted completely bland. The lo mein only had really small pieces of chicken with no flavor mushrooms and no other veggies. The beef was supposed to be spicey but it barely had a hint of spicy flavor. I tasted all of the dishes. I was referred there and was expecting so much more. Place looks clean and people were polite. That's why they get 2 stars. Otherwise I would put only one and will not return sorry.

I'm from the DC area and so far this is one of the only restaurants that really hits the spot and reminds me of home. The 香干肉丝 is as good as it gets and the fried rice hits the spot for when I'm craving some classic American Chinese food!

Nice place. Came here because of an Instagram reel featuring the house special tofu. Delicious would recommend getting that.

I called in an order of Moo Goo Gai Pan with an Egg Roll and by the time I arrived it came out hot and fresh. I was so surprised when I opened the container to see so much color. It's a lovely dish for your eyes as well as your tummy. It was the most delicious Moo Goo I have ever had and the Egg Roll was made with real pork and so full of flavor. I got it with fried rice and the fried rice was made with peas, carrots and egg. China Palace is hitting number ones in my book!

Rubbery inedible chicken in our dish....The best Chinese chefs slice the chicken in nice pieces. We got these huge THICK strips of chicken in our Cantonese Battered Chicken--The vegetables were nice and crispy and a good assortment. But the chicken was so tough it was kind of miserable to try to cut it (no knife--cuz you don't need knives in any Chinese restaurant) and I hate to have to chew and chew to then finally swallow the chicken-- That is not the experience we were looking for . Received a small bowl of rice. { It's expensive too --all dishes are, so probably will not chance it again....It was a clean place and the staff was pretty nice. I noticed they clossed for quite a while, and I thought well, I know why.... I just saw lights on recently and diners--but again, not going to take a chance on this place.

I like China Palace a lot. My favorite dish is Chinese Broccoli with Garlic. Delicious. It consists of the broccoli greens and stems. No florets in this dish. The flavor is wonderful. Ginger and garlic. I don’t like the Spring Roll … not that much to it … very small with not much filling. They are $2.75, but as small as they are, a more fair price would $1.00 or $1.25. If you’ve never tried China Palace, I recommend you do.

No frills Chinese restaurant known for its signature Cantonese menu. It is unassuming in appearance but the owners who work there are nice and welcoming. The interior is clean and almost every seat has a window view so you can watch ongoing traffic. My friend put me on the house special fried tofu and I get that almost every time I've come, which would make this visit my 3rd. I also ordered their wonton hot and sour soup as a starter and it came with 2 big wontons and a generous bowl of fried noodles. Everything was delicious. The tofu dish consisted of crispy tofu and soft interior, savory stir-fried pork and hot peppers. This is a nice medium spice. I've also had their famous roast duck which is nice and juicy. I recommend this place for a low-key authentic Cantonese-Chinese food. They also have takeout classics like sesame chicken if that's more of your flow.

China Palace has been so good lately and I may have just had one of my favorite meals ever at a Chinese restaurant: Chinese broccoli with garlic sauce, beef with chili peppers, wide rice noodles with chicken. Seriously go get it, this isn't Americanized though they offer that type of food too. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. I've lived near this restaurant for a long time and it gets better and better. My current fave in the area.

My favorite sit-down, non-buffet Chinese restaurant in the Triangle! Try the ma bo tofu!
