So good
The food was below average for American Chinese food takeout, the lo mein noodles had a really off-putting smell and the sesame tofu was very watery. The inside of the restaurant is very run down (which could be ok if the food was good). That said, the people working there were quick and helpful.
Not great, not good, barely average at above average prices. No soy sauce included, what? Of all the Chinese food restaurants I've been to this one definitely could have used soy sauce. How does this place have a 4.6 rating? Beats the he!! out of me!
Food was delicious. A takeout closer to us was closed so I drove a little to try this so glad I did
I always come here for the best chinese food in town. The portions are large and really tasty. The place is humble looking but has fun funky decorations and the lady is always so friendly. Real genuine family owned business, I love it
I ordered the shrimp and broccoli. It was very good. This is the best I've tasted so far in the last few years.

Avoid at all costs this place is terrible over priced garbage. They have two tables they were both filthy and one had a spider ?️. After ordering and not getting all my food I sat down and gave them the benefit of the doubt only to eat complete garbage. If you’re from the area and you have no other options drive the extra miles to avoid because it was terrible. I got the General Tso’s chicken and wonton soup. It tasted like it was poisoned. I should have asked for a refund but the woman’s son looked like he had severe issues so we just left out of pure pity but she still didn’t give us all of our food. Poor service poor food poor filthy restaurant.

I had an outstanding experience at China star The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was top-notch. I loved the stylish and atmospheric interior, complete with a sleek bar area and spacious tables perfect for large groups. During my dinner visit, the appetizers were mouth-watering, and the Pork Belly Banh Mi was a standout - super savory and expertly caramelized. I highly recommend trying it! Overall, I'm definitely coming back for more."

Best Chinese takeout in Durham. Sesame Chicken with pork-fried rice, egg-roll and egg-drop soup were all good. Still make the great crispy fried noodles (instead of the gross bagged factory-made ones that other places are starting to use) and comes with fortune cookies. Great cooking and ingredients.
Moved here 2.5 years ago, have tried several chinese restaurants. this is by far the best I've tried. It's very good. Kung Pao chicken is not greasy or breaded, it's delicious.
