Good solid fast food style Chinese food for the money. I order here a few times a month and it's always the same good quality.

We tried dinner this evening. The entrees were good (sesame chicken, fried shrimp) but the sides were not. Boneless spareribs were so dried out and hard as to be inedible. Crab Rangoon were also disappointing. The fried noodles were inedible as well due to a chemical odor. There's lot of choices locally so we'll skip this place next time.

I'd ordered from China Star about a month ago. Food was excellent. Better though was the service. I used a gift card to pay but got distracted by a phone call and forgot to get my card back. Didn't realize my gaff for a few days (I was back in Pa by then). Completely my fault. Card had about $80 left on it and anyone could have used it. About a week later, I was back in the area and took a chance and went back to China Star and asked whether they still had the card. I expected that the card and $$$ were long gone. But, the young woman who took my order initially went to her notebook and had my card. She was extremely apologetic that she was not able to call me to say that I'd forgotten my card. I was amazed by the honesty demonstrated. The food is excellent and I will definitely patronize China Star based on the honesty and integrity of the staff.

I've been going to China Star for over 20 years and have always been very happy with the quality and consistency of the food. It's my go to place for Chinese takeout.

For Chinese food, it is one of the best places to eat. I was introduced to this restaurant a few years ago, so every time I have cravings for Chinese food and I want to eat at home, it the first place that comes to my mind.Today I have a little misunderstanding. my husband usually is the one who calls because my Latin’s accent is very hard to understand when I am on the phone with someone who is not not English speaking native. So, I ordered a triple sea food delight and the lady from the restaurant understood three triple delight. When I picked out the food I told her about the confusion and she very kindly offered me to keep the food and returned $10.00. I think that I just learned to make myself more understandable for next time or wake up my sleeping husband, and let him make the call. And about the food: yes, it really good. I highly recommend to get this dish with fried rice instead of steamed rice. Wonton soup was good too, and don’t forget to get some fortune cookies, and eggs rolls.

China star used to be an excellent takeout place and close to my house—they were my go-to! Over the last several years the food has gone from pretty good to beyond bad. I am not sure if ownership has changed or the staff has changed. The food is tasteless and greasy. The staff could not be more unfriendly and the place seems pretty dirty. It’s so sad to see what was a nice establishment. Go down the drain. I will never go back.

Best Chinese food I have had down here in 14 years. Closet to back home!
