This location is dirty and when I got there, the chicken looked like it had been sitting there for a while, probably because people know not to buy from here. The floor was extremely wet from cleaning, I guess. The man who helped me was not friendly and had me waiting for about 5 minutes why he sprayed water in the sink before acknowledging me, nor did the others. Because of this, I didn't buy any food from here. So, I'm not sure if the food was good. Also, there are a lot of pot holes in the parking lot.

I went to the Churches in Durham on Roxboro. Two men were working. There was a very long wait for the 12 piece mix and the 3 wing box. The horror of the wait came when I went to the bathroom. As soon as I open the Bathroom door and turned on the lights... roaches went scurrying everywhere. They were covering the entire floor, commode, and walls. When I spoke to the man who appeared to be the manager; he said I'm on a 15 day stent and don't plan to do anything else. How the hell did they get a 95 health rating. That store has always had a cleanliness problem. I hope the Durham County Health Department shut them down today. Either way; I won't go back there. I spent right at $30. Never ever again. That location needs to be torn down.

the honey butter biscuits were everything!! The fried Chicken is better than the other places I've tried in Durham.
They tried with what they had. I would be frustrated, too, if I had take orders at the window because the board doesn't work. But the chicken wasn't bad, which was my reasoning for going.

I wish this location would renovate this location to make it stand out in this corner. The drive-thru needs improvement. Andrea W, customer service was top-tier. Kudos to her! The chicken was well done and tasty and the buttered biscuits were ??. It looked like they were understaffed and yet Andrea let us know she was working as fast as she could. We had questions about the options and she was very patient and pleasant and explained the menu well.As businesses are chronically understaffed across the country, let's please be sure to thank our service workers for making our lives a little less stressed. If it's good customer services, please let everyone know.

I am all for giving restaurants a chance before I leave a review.. After trying this place three times I simply can't understand how they remain open. Each time I have eaten here. I have received overcooked and flavorless chicken.. Unlike other churches locations this chicken always seems to lack salt and savory flavor. Unfortunately these repeated unsatisfactory experiences insure that I will never turn.

Always have to get the honey biscuits when I see a Churches. Delicious!11/28/23 returned to the store and had an awful experience. Appeared they were under new management, I did not see the normal crew. The man also didn’t take my order right. I ordered a 3 piece tender combo with Coke and he rung up the chicken and side of mashed potatoes a la carte. I had to pull to the side for my food to be prepared. He brought me three nearly burnt, lacked seasoning, rubbery “mystery meat” tenders. They were awful, the bbq sauce didn’t help so I trashed them. So I paid nearly $10 for a biscuit and mashed potatoes and gravy.
