Every single item we were served was overcooked, and it was clear there was no quality control coming out of the kitchen. The corn pudding tasted like it had been scraped straight off the bottom of the pan, dry and burnt with zero care taken in preparation. The ribs were tough, dry, and clearly overdone, lacking the tenderness you’d expect from decent BBQ. The Texas toast and hush puppies were burnt to the point of being unpleasant, not just “a little crispy.” The only item that had any real flavor was the coleslaw — unfortunately, that was the lone bright spot in an otherwise disappointing meal. As for the pulled pork, it was dry and flavorless, and then insult was added to injury when salt and pepper were thrown on top as if that could somehow fix it. That’s a major no when it comes to BBQ. Service was acceptable, but it couldn’t make

Had a great first experience at the city BBQ all thanks to chelcy! The atmosphere was great! I had a bowl of chilli and it was perfect.
I will admit that i don’t frequent this place often, but I have to say I LOVE their Pulled Pork Sandwich combined with their Swine Sauce. I like my BBQ on the more “vinegary side” justa FYI. Atmosphere is fine for what it is. I always do take out so i can’t comment on the “dine in” aspect.

First time I had food there my Son treated me to Dinner it was good and loved the cole slaw.
The food was delicious and the service was fabulous!! My friend and I had a hard time figuring out what to get, but Sergio at the register was very patient with us and super helpful with giving recommendations. He even let us sample a few things! Very friendly staff, food was yummy and delivered fast (accommodated my allergy well too). Just a great atmosphere all around
