Convivio Restaurant

Another beautiful experience at Convivio! I had the Sformato - it was fantastic! The wine list is always inspired. Highly, highly recommend.

Great experience. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Helped us pick a wine that was perfect for our tastes. This is not like most Italian restaurants in a very good way. Smaller in size but lots of room as tables not jammed together. Menu is smaller but the varied options gave us plenty to choose from. There were 4 of us and we had the seafood risotto, pork belly, pizza and lasagna. All were excellent! Owner stopped by all tables to ask if we needed anything (love this). If you haven't been, go!

Every time we see a show at DPAC we make reservations here. The food is amazing! Limoncello is a must w/ dessert!

I love the variety of dishes and the seasonal menu. I went there with my husband and son. My husband has allergy to meat and was pleased that they had a meatless four cheese Lasagna on their seasonal menu. My son loved the tricolor pizza and I liked the oxtail. I think the star of our menu was the minestrone. I liked everything about it. That soup alone would make me go back there. The Owner and our server were also notably welcoming and kind and I had a wonderful birthday dinner. 

The food and wine list are exceptional and reasonably priced, with pairings that compliment each other beautifully. We dine at Convivio often and are consistently impressed by the quality of the dishes, the attentive service, and warm atmosphere. Everything is outstanding. We're already looking forward to the next visit.

We had two reservations (3 adults + 4 teens) and showed up an hour early, and they graciously were able to seat us within 15 minutes. The server was friendly and helpful. All of the food was fantastic -- very fresh.

Fantastic experience for our first time at Convivio. The white lasagna was a particular knockout - do not miss if it is on the menu!!

We were from out of town, snd we had a wonderful Christmas Eve meal at Convivio. The Gnocchi, wine and dessert Affogato were spectacular. The gnocchi was the best I've ever had. Servers were.very helpful, too.

I didn’t know about this restaurant although it has been open for some time, but glad to have discovered it. The food was freshly made and wonderful, the owner fabulous, and the birthday dessert a delicious surprise. I will definitely be back.

Convivio is an excellent Italian restaurant - great food and service and a very nice wine menu with lots of unique and reasonably-priced Italian selections. Highly recommended!

Authentic Italian food from the Umbria region. Very good!! Olive oil superb. Truffle pasta magnifico!

My daughter and I went there for Thanksgiving, the staff was great, the food was great as well. They were very accommodating and friendly.

Authentic Italian cuisine, superb service. Excellent affordable wines. Our favorite restaurant in downtown Durham.
