Convivio Restaurant

I didn’t know about this restaurant although it has been open for some time, but glad to have discovered it. The food was freshly made and wonderful, the owner fabulous, and the birthday dessert a delicious surprise. I will definitely be back.

Convivio is an excellent Italian restaurant - great food and service and a very nice wine menu with lots of unique and reasonably-priced Italian selections. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I went there for Thanksgiving, the staff was great, the food was great as well. They were very accommodating and friendly.

We were able to walk in on a Saturday night and eat at the bar. The atmosphere stood out right away and we felt very happy about our decision. Then the food came out and we felt like we were back in Italy. Authentic people, atmosphere and food. You will not be disappointed!

This place was so lovely! We had to find a place to seat 16 people the night before a wedding. It was somewhat last minute for that many people, and convivio was right on it. I was really worried because it was a Saturday and o was thinking it can't be great if they can seat us all on a short notice. But reviews were great and I thought we are doing it. We arrived and it was in a little alley and I thought oh no. But right when we walked up it was so cute and lovely! They sat us at a large family style table off to the side and it was just great!!! And let me tell you, I had a group that travels all over the world and loves their food...AND had an Italian mother who cooked up a storm! We were really pleased and I would recommend to anyone. Cute little bar and tables around too. They do family style which I thought would be great with such a large group, but the group was so excited about the menu they wanted their own meals. Which worked out perfect!

Food was quite good but service was below par. At this price point, you need warm, engaging wait staff who will at least pour water for the table. I was surprised they did not ask if we wanted additional drinks when ours ran dry; that is leaving easy money on the table. It's strange to have a dishwashing cart rolled around the dining room at peak service in a fine dining restaurant too.

Convivio is such an amazing restaurant. Great, well curated Italian wines at reasonable prices. Every menu item I have tried has been great. I had the insalate Sfiziosa, Gnocchi alla Norcina, and the Cipolle al Forno. Wow. Gelato for dessert. The Il Sasso to wash it all down. Very much recommended.

Portions were small. Cost of white truffle up charge was egregious, but had to try it with the pasta - turned out to be just bland. Gnocchi was overcooked. Flavors were mostly subdued. Menu was small - only 4 pasta selections. Priced at a level far above what it delivers. Was nearly empty on a Saturday night.

Convivio is truly the best! Giuseppe makes sure to take care of his customers and provide them with great food and a great experience. He is kind to and supportive of his staff. The food experience he provides to the community is top notch.

Truly a dining experience that is best enjoyed with a large group of people. We had the pleasure of trying the family style dinner among a large party and it was a fantastic time- every dish was absolutely delicious and we got to try just about the entire menu. The owner was an absolute joy to be around and it felt like the type of restaurant you are proud to support. Authentic and awesome!
