Best ramen I’ve had in years!!

I was super disappointed , got the pancake and it was funky tasting like old sushi. I also got the pork belly buns, the pork belly was so tough you couldn't eat it. All you could taste is the kimchi, we basically threw away the whole meal minus 1 bite of each

Chicken karaage was greasy and burnt for $25
Super nice staff
Chicken bao was amazing
Chansu pork ramen wasn't my thing
I had a great experience at Corner Yaki. Greg took care of me and was genuinely helpful the entire time—friendly without being over the top, and really attentive. The food was cooked by Teo, and he absolutely knows what he’s doing. Everything came out hot, seasoned perfectly, and cooked exactly the way it should be.
Overall, solid service, great food, and a smooth visit from start to finish. I’d definitely come back.

I've tried Corner Yaki a few times now (around 5) and every single time I've been underwhelmed. The food is flavorless and almost always greasy – it's disappointing... especially when there are so many good asian restaurants in the area.
I beat myself up every time I get tempted by a rice bowl because I should've just got a salad or food from elsewhere.
Their dumplings are pretty solid, but apart from that I'd recommend finding a different spot to eat at.

Got the ramen, asked to verify that I would be getting a soy egg like in the picture. When I got it, it was a regular soft boiled egg. I went back disappointed and showed them, the person behind the counter simply told me “oops we are out of it” and simply stared at me with no help

I don’t really write reviews normally, but I got the mushroom okonomiyaki and the middle was completely raw. I love Durham Food Hall, and the service was totally fine, but I probably won’t be back to this specific stall because only half of the meal was edible.

We’re typically big lovers of CY. Got the pork ramen today and it smelled like pork grease and had no flavor. Mall chicken was solid as usual.

After going to this spot several times and trying different items from the menu, i unfortunately always find it very underwhelming and end up pretty dissatisfied. Besides the food, staff is always very kind which I appreciate.

Food was hot, fast and fresh. Staff was friendly and did everything they could to make our experience pleasant. They accidentally gave us beef instead of chicken dumplings and even when we kept reassuring them it was okay they brought us chicken dumplings too. Great experience and very warm feelings towards the restaurant.

The owner is really nice and helpful and thinking through options so I would give that 5/5. Ultimately, I think the food is 3 out of five, but if you’re in the mood for it, go for it!
I got the pancake, but would not really suggest it unless you’re in for something kind of weird and interesting. The wings were all right, but pretty heavily breaded.

Food was fine. Short rib was pretty chewy but tasted delicious. Atmosphere is fine it’s a food hall... My main issue was my single bowl to-go order took 30 minutes to make when I was one of 3 tickets in that span. Didn’t feel great to be forgotten! Probably won’t go back but I encourage others to at least try. That whole food hall is getting interestingly expensive for less and less impressive food
