We had a 7pm reservation. I had to check a few times and finally sat at 7:20. Service started great but declined quickly. Food came out fairly quick but they gave one of our entrees to another table so had to wait for that one. Drinks came out wrong 3 times. Our server, Henry, was the best - giving us detailed descriptions of all the dishes and coming back often to make sure all was well. The food was fabulous! My friend and I started out with raw oysters - Counting House had 3 varieties available. The 2 we ordered were fresh and tasted just as Henry had described. I had the branzino for my entree. It was served whole, grilled perfectly, moist and almost buttery tasting. The by-the-glass wine list was brief but paired with the food...
Hotel food. Server and other staff were great. Ambiance middling. Food meh. Had gnocchi, which was overwhelmed by a raw garlic flavor. “Confit Wings” app is a fancy name for “wings.” Put a bright red maraschino cherry in my Manhattan, which was $17 for the bourbon, $1.50 for “Manhattan,” and $2 for the ice cube, all broken out on the bill.
