Slow service. Dining area not clean. Food was cold. They definitely need new management or close the door.

We've eaten there on & off for years. We were just there this evening and I found it to be a top notch restaurant. The manager was friendly as was every employee we interacted with. It was bustling, upbeat, felt organized, and the staff seemed to enjoy interacting with each other and with the customers. Our server, James, was fantastic; a friendly, cheerful, attentive young guy. Go in, ask for James, and tip him well. ?

I found the perfect gift for my daughter birthday. She loves candles. Food was great. My job is down the street from there so everything is good.

Food was great...service was very slow. Waitess was great...just think they were very short staffed.

Food was good, but the server was slow and inattentive to the point other guests got up and left before receiving beverage service. Other servers attempted to makeup the difference but it was insufficient.

Took an hour and a half to get a take out order. Forty five minutes from ordering until it was supposed to be ready. Forty five minutes spent waiting in the store. Only one worker seemed to actually care. One outright rude. When we finally got the food it was all cold and not very good, expect for the one item that they ran out of and we apparently had to wait to have it cooked while all our entrees, other sides, bread, etc. became totally cold. They also got the order slightly wrong and left out all the condiments, etc. we requested which were on the receipt. The manager said he would give us credit for the meal. I haven't checked to see if he has, but it pretty much placed a large, dark cloud over my day. I used to like this place, but the level of care, service and quality of food we received has changed that. Oh, and their prices have, our course, gone up. This is why you shouldn't tip online when you order, which I did. Live and learn.

Cake was horrible. The biscuits was hard. The cherry leomade was to much. For the money I paid not worth it.

Wow, what happened to this place? Used to live in Durham. Came into town tonight and stopped at Cracker Barrel. Tables were covered in dirty dishes, we and others were waiting forever for service. We gave up and left. Manager seemed clueless. Why wasn’t he bussing tables and at least getting drink orders for the customers. It seemed to me he was ignoring the fact that he had a couple of servers who were really struggling to keep up. He certainly wasn’t jumping in and helping. Such a shame.

Called in a pick up order at around 4:50pm. Left the house at around 5:15pm to go pick it up because I was told the food would be ready in thirty minutes or less. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the restaurant from my house. When I got to CB, I was told my food wasn't ready. I had to wait over thirty minutes in the store, along with about six other patrons waiting on orders. One man who had been waiting for around 15-20 minutes was told what he ordered online was not available. The manager didn't sound too apologetic. The whole time I was there I heard that the kitchen was backed up for 30-45 minutes. There were two team members just chit chatting in the front store and all I could think was if they need something to do then they need to be in the back helping the kitchen. When the manager brought up my food she didn't apologize for the wait or anything! I checked my bag the best I could, but what do you know, when I got home I was missing a side item. I called the store for a refund on the ONE item and I was told that I need to come in the store for that. Cracker Barrel, you need to get it together! When someone packs a bag, they need to ensure that all items are in there, especially if someone has been waiting for an unreasonable amount of time!

I waited over 30 minutes for a pick up order only to find out an item I ordered wasn't available. I only found that out because I went into the restaurant. No excuses- they weren't even busy.

I disagree, the food was very bad, cold, apparently it was reheated, they changed my plate and it was still cold and dry.

Food is awesome, but you need to hire more cooks. Waited 20 min for a table, but tables were open. Not enough help. Then waited 1 hr for our meals to come out.
