Always a great spot in Brodhead! I'm a fan of the chicken wings, though in my opinion they aren't very spicy. I appreciate that they have some fun non alcoholic drink options so I never feel like I'm missing out!
I come up to coach the Jon Scheyer Basketball Camp every summer, and Jay makes us coaches feel at home. He is the epitome of southern hospitality, and I look forward to seeing him every year.
This bar is the gem of Durham! The staff is absolutely magnificent! Melvin, Javonne, and James are very welcoming and kind. When my daughter was a freshman last year, Melvin gave us the most genuine and caring reception. He told us about all the places to see in Durham, best restaurants, parks, hotels, etc. We introduced Melvin to our daughter, and every time she passed through, Melvin remembered her, and said to say hi to her parents.
