Upscale Mex. Carne Asada in the best.

Absolutely fantastic! Top quality ingredients, excellent cocktails. The BEST Mexican food I've ever had, and I've had a lot. I am a 50+ year old connoisseur of food. I would go back and be extremely happy to do so.

Had an amazing experience. Though it started off rough with Sherm being accosted by his potential love interests, he quickly and politely handled the situation while never breaking the attention from our service. Ali made sure to keep him straight and chase the suitors away. Together they formed like Voltron to provide a united front of top shelf service. This is definite must visit from me. Try the top shelf tequila as you won't be disappointed.

Poor service. Very poor service. Gave them chance for second time. We will never come back. Ordered beer later our server came and ask again for our drink order. I reminded her that we have ordered drinks with her. She said we are short staffed and than she walked away. Than the table that came after us got their service, we left. If I could give less than 1 star I would have given them that rating. Good location. But limited menu choices.

Food was alright, I got the fajitas and cannot complain. Now I can start to complain. My girlfriend ordered a beet salad to go with her food, after inquiring about it a couple times it eventually got to us, at the end of the meal. The meal itself took a while and I think we were some of the last people to pop in, because every other patron was enjoying their food.Oh I almost forgot, it appears yes, they require facemasks and the like, which is stated on google. They do however require you to have proof of vaccination, which I did not have handy for my daughter. This was not mentioned on "The Google". After a minor inconvenience and a small wait, we got to wait around some more and watch some gringos fumble semi-classy tex mex.I'm upset this turned out to be my birthday dinner, as the experience alone just kind of killed the mood. I'll take a hard pass next time guys, I'm sorry. I don't know why I apologized.

Came here for the first time with my sister last Thursday night for dinner, and was very pleased. I got the birria tacos, which were great, I almost got an order to-go.The salsa and chips tasted fresh. My sister thought her chicken fajitas were average.Get the birria tacos!

Had dinner with my family here, and will not be coming back. The waitress forget to put in my wife’s food order, and when we asked about the delay, she was extremely rude. We asked for the manager to come over and she had the same Nonchalant attitude. Extremely disappointed, I heard good things about this place.

Dos Perros was once one of my favorite restaurants in Durham. It has gone downhill. Food tonight was awful. Chicken tasted like it was out of a can. Host was pretentious. Waiter disregarded our complaints. If you would like recommendations for a better dining experience: juju, convivo and alley twenty six. Actually Wendy’s on a good day might be better than dos Perros.

This place gets five stars from me because every time I go there - every single time - the service is quick and friendly, the margaritas and burritos (I always get the salsa verde chicken) are amazing, and I don't have to take out a loan to go out and have a nice dinner. It's walking distance from DPAC so you can grab dinner before going to a show.

I had been looking forward to trying this place for a while. Sadly and unsurprisingly, the restaurant was very understaffed. The tacos (fried shrimp, barbacoa, and grilled mahi mahi) were tiny and underwhelming. The fried shrimp tacos were bland and not fried. The barbacoa was dry, and the grilled mahi mahi also didn't have much flavor. The smoked pineapple margarita was much smokier than I was expecting and there wasn't much pineapple flavor. It could've been due to the face our table ordered a pitcher rather than individual ones. However, the ambiance at the restaurant is absolutely adorable. The food/drink didn't live up to the expectations, but it was an enjoyable evening.

Visited Dos Perros because of their participation in Triangle Vegan week. They were offering a three course special, vegan cerviche made with lion's mane and other mushrooms, a pascole and a coconut milk based flan. All three were amazing in different ways. The cerviche had nice acidity and spices along with a meaty texture provided by the mushrooms. The pascole was perfect for the fall weather - warm, savory and comforting - and the flan was a pleasant surprise (I'm not usually a big fan of flan).Service was superb. My spouse had the eggplant mole, which was also amazing.

Used to LOVE this place. Not sure what's happened. The tiniest tacos I have ever seen for an entree. Cheap wine, not many choices. Food was marginal at best. Won't be back.

Dinner was extremely underwhelming. PreCovid tacos were large. Food was hot and chips and salsa was included. Now, sadly, the Tacos are the size of silver dollars, chips and salsa is an app, and the dinner is cold. Please stop abusing your customers for your lack of income. Close if you can’t maintain a standard.

Absolutely incredible, authentic Mexican food at a great price. It doesn’t hurt that it’s walking distance to DPAC!

Went here the other night and it was very delicious! We got the fried plantains (amazing), 3 tacos (carnitas, barbacoa, shrimp) and the veggie fajitas. We wanted to sit on the patio but it rained. Inside has nice moody casual vibes. This place is vegan and gluten free friendly! Cocktails were good. Service was slow.
