I am OBSESSED with this place's food, it's ridiculously good. I've picked up take out from Earth to Us a countless number of times. My absolute favorites are their Beyond or Impossible burgers (their pretzel buns and bang bang sauce are swoon-worthy), mac and cheese, BBQ "chicken", buffalo cauliflower wings, breakfast burrito with potatoes, chocolate chip walnut cookies, and lemon cake.Thank you so much for offering so many delicious vegan dishes, Earth to Us! My not-yet-entirely-veg boyfriend loves this place almost as much as I do. I even chose this place as my big birthday meal in September!
First time being here and it was just a few minutes from my work , I invited a friend out cuz he's vegan and he's trying to explore other options around the area so I recommended this place and we both ended up enjoying ourselves , overall good atmosphere staff is very friendly and I'll definitely come back againVegetarian options: All vegan options here on natural
Seriously so good. The loaded tostones were so crispy and cooked to perfection and the Mac and Cheese and BBQ "chicken" was so flavorful, saucy, and tender!! I'm not vegan, but all the food here tastes like it's meat (so if you're not vegan, definitely give this food a try!). It's super filling and will leave you wanting more. The staff is so nice, too!Vegetarian options: All vegan food
This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. I'm a Cuban vegan, so it was great to see a Cuban vegan restaurant, and I was not disappointed. I had the breakfast arepa and garlic tostones. My partner got the patacon. The staff are so nice, it's one of those places you genuinely feel good about patronizing. If I lived in Durham I would absolutely go there weekly. Don't miss it when you're visiting!
EARTH TO US5 OUT OF 5 ?????*I ordered The Yellow Bowl, which was a large helping of deliciousness. The Yellow Bowl has these amazing seasoned chickpeas served with arroz con gandules & tostones drizzled with this awesome bang bang sauce. It tasted like home and it was scrumptious.*I can't wait to go back and try other things on their menu. It's a little bit hidden away in a shopping plaza, but hidden gems tend to be the best places
I loved the cauliflower wings and the mac and cheese. I recommend this restaurant when in Durham.
I cannot wait to be traveling through on another road trip so I can eat here again! Everything is vegan, smells, and tastes delicious. My husband doesn't even like beans, and he finished the black beans on my plate. Especially good? The plantains! I highly recommend ordering them.
I am not vegan & everything was delicious. Everything made fresh to order. The desserts was also good to be vegan. And the Buffalo cauliflower are soooooo good! Can't wait to go back!
I was surprised to find this vegan restaurant. I have been to Durham 100+ times and have searched for vegetarian restaurants but, somehow, this never popped up. Anyhow, this was a pleasant surprise. It is a small place tucked into an ordinary shopping strip....... but outside appearances are deceiving. They serve very good food, with an emphasis on vegan versions of Latin/Mexican food (which is a great idea). Lots of choices, including dessert. I only chose one one item (no dessert), the hempe tacos, which were delicious. They offer other hempe dishes. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table (they put a flag with your order number on the table). The service was OK. Keeping with the name of the restaurant, there are small globes on some of the tables and in the bathroom was a poster about Mr. Spock from Star Trek. Also, they offer Wi-Fi, which is a nice touch. One (small) disadvantage was they have limited hours (they are not open everyday), I think because of a manpower shortage related to the coronavirus crisis, unfortunately. Overall, a very nice restaurant.
Really delicious vegan food! We came to Raleigh to visit family and were totally shocked to find an all vegan restaurant literally 2 minutes away from us. This comes after we visited Miami and the closest restaurant was 20 minutes no traffic, so this was great. They also had clearly marked very yummy gluten free options. The hempe tacos were surprisingly good and filling after seeing a small plate. You know it's good when you're mentally preparing space in your stomach for each dish + more that you still want to order. We're in town for 4 days and will definitely be back to try everything else we missed! Also, props for the best bbq cauliflower we've had! Crunchy, not squishy. And also the cole slaw! Buttery goodness.Update: We went back for brunch the next day and enjoyed it! There's a small menu, but you can also still order from the regular menu. The restaurant was a bit too cold or we may have hung around longer, but we'll definitely be back if we're ever in town again!
Really wanted to try this place. We arrive at 8:45 pm and they said they were closed. However the door sign said 9 pm and their Yelp page indicated they were open until 9:00 pm. So one star for poor time management.
the vibes were right walking in. incredible vegan food with so much flavor and care put into it.
My daughter recommended this restaurant and I'm not vegan but I loves it. I had the nachos amd they were supprisly good and fresh ingredients. I would eat there again.
I had a really good experience here! The staff was very friendly and the food was out quickly. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings and Mac and Cheese Plate. The cauliflower wings were good but in my opinion, the Mac and Cheese stole the show. It was absolutely delicious; so delicious that I ordered another side of it and brought some home to my girlfriend! I also enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant as it was clean and there weren't a lot of people in there when I went.
I'm not vegan, but this place was so impressive! The cauliflower wings were my fave -- so crunchy, and the sauce was pretty good as well! Could've been a little more spicy for my taste, but they were yummy nevertheless. I also really liked the garlic tostones and sweet potato fries. And their side sauces were just so phenomenal!! The veggie empanadas were meh -- they kind of tasted like samosas but with a lot less spice. The nachos were also ok, probably because I'm not used to fake cheese (sorry sorry). The staff was super nice and welcoming, but service was on the slower side. This was totally understandable though, since it seemed they were understaffed given the loads of customers they were getting!! But I would recommend ordering ahead to reduce the wait time.
