Very nice Guatemalan deli/diner and grocery store! I just went there for first time. Got pupusas and loved the food, atmosphere, experience. Look forward to exploring the other menu items

Our group of friends, made up of both Black and White guests, felt noticeably unwelcome during our visit. Prior to us arriving, we got the phone hung up on us, and once we arrived, we waited almost 25 minutes for someone to come to us. There were only four other people in at the time. While other tables were greeted warmly, some of the Hispanic staff seemed distant and rushed with us. We heard them discussing, saying words like ā€œnegroā€ and ā€œblancaā€ you don’t need to speak Spanish to know that we weren’t welcome making the whole experience awkward. We couldn’t ignore the difference in treatment. The food was fine, but the service left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Just a fair warning to anyone that isn’t 100% of Hispanic origin.

I'm Mexican from Chiapas, and this restaurant has an authentic flavor and seasoning! It brings back so many memories of Chiapas food.

First time eating here! The customer service was friendly, maybe a little disorganized, but everyone was kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing, and I especially loved that they played marimba music; it made me feel like I was back in Guatemala! I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic Guatemalan food or looking to try something new and delicious.

The food was good. It might depend on people's tastes, though. Although the meal I ordered didn't make much of an impression on me, I'm happy to go back and try something else. It was cool that they have an integrated store with all kinds of things such as ointments, chips, and soft drinks.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Wake!

I’ve had 7-8 different items now and every are universally fantastic. Tonight, I got a bunch of a la carte items- a salsa tostada, pork tamale, sweet plantains, pupusas (one shrimp & one beef), and a beef pastelito. Every single item was incredibly well made and very flavorful. My favorite were the pupusas, which are by far the best I’ve ever had.

On top of that, the atmosphere is fantastic & the service is always great.

The food has always been good and fresh and excellent portions. Everyone is friendly and helpful if you have questions. The pollo de crema was good, the roasted chicken meal too. We ordered one of the meals for two once with beef and shrimp and it was more like for three and a half. Salads are packaged separate and fresh, not wilted pieces included alongside your hot dish. This is my go to spot when having company because I feel like everyone can find something here and the prices are very reasonable. Never dined in but I would. When picking up the music is always good and the place is clean. Five stars all the way!
