Cute place! It was nice and busy on a Monday afternoon. Their menu looks great. The staff was nice. We got our food to go. We tried the quiche and a burger. Pretty disappointed. Quiche was just ok. They don't season their home fried potatoes AT ALL, so they were kinda gross. Who doesn't season their home fries??!! Burger was good sized and fairly decent. Fries were a little undercooked. We also got a coffee shake which was ok, but it was like plain coffee, not sweet...
Mary was a really good server. Atmosphere was good . Food was mediocre ? grits were not that great omelet was ok at best , biscuit was toasted but tasted a day old. Again Mary saved you from a 3 star
It's a good cheap place to get breakfast. The wait is long because it's a long standing breakfast spot, very popular. But when you get down to it, nothing here is really special other than their 20 year long history. But don't bother believing some of the inflated reviews. It's just okay.
