In town for the week and needed a place for a meetup. The food was as good as it looked on the menu. So many good options, would love to go back if we get the chance.

The Market Veggie sandwich is delicious and the tomato basil soup is nice. I found the iced coffee to be a bit too sweet for me but that’s more of a personal preference. My waitress, Jasmine, was welcoming and attentive. I would definitely come again!

The first time here was last Sunday. The service was absolutely Devine, and the food was splendid. Our server was John. When trying to decide where to come dine this week, it was a no-brainer. John, our server was the number one reason we returned, and the food, of course. This time, we were graced by the manager, Kyle. We see now exactly why the service, the atmosphere, and the food are remarkable. Kyle is spectacular. Everyone should dine here at least once. I promise it will not be your last time. Just promise you'll save me and my family a few seats. 😊

Beware of their payment system; it you split bill, they are using the full amount to steal a larger tip. First experience at this establishment and won't return to another First Watch. The waitress brought out an incorrect order, which wasn't complained about. We split the bill and the machine calculated the tip to include tax and the full amount. The crappy waitress walked away with 40% tip for crappy service. Location was notified and said it was a new system and would refund the tip but they lied about that too. There have to be better places to have breakfast.

First Watch is my favorite spot for breakfast or lunch in the Triangle area of Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh, NC, among their various locations.
The service is great with knowledgeable, polite, positive and upbeat people who seem to be enjoying their work. The menus are creative with fresh, flavorful and healthy foods. Portion sizes and prices are fair and well justified.
In my seven years as a Triangle resident, with dozens of meals at First Watch, I have never been disappointed in any manner.
Parking: Convenient location to Southpoint Mall shopping, a Hilton Gardens Hotel, six or seven Hendrick auto dealerships, NC 751, BC 54 and I-40.

One of our son's favorite breakfast restaurants. The food is always good.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free toast is available. The gluten-free french toast is excellent.

Took a little longer than I would have liked to get waited on. I ordered the waffle with cheese eggs and potatoes. The waffle was great. My eggs were over cooked and the potatoes were a bit salty.

Restaurantji Recommends
Normally a restaurant that I go to often and recommend to friends and family until this morning when hot sauce or ketchup was spilled by a waitress cleaning a table next to ours and it splattered all over my jacket and purse. The incident was barely acknowledged by the staff until I asked if they had any type of stain remover, but all that could be offered was an antibacterial wipe. I asked if the sauce could be cleaned up off the floor around me so that I would not step or slip in it and it was simply left and not taken care of. I am not angry about not being able to obtain stain remover because that was a long shot, but I am upset about the response and nonchalance given to damage of my belongings in front of the staff.

Ordered a to-go order for the Market Veggie, left a tip too. Arrived on time and waited 25min to get my food. It was cold and they did not even put the veggies on the sandwich or dressing on the salad
