We are frequent flyers and love it here! Best espresso martini in town. Great homemade veggie burger. And now they have weekend brunch with a beautifullly crafted brunch menu with classic breakfast items with a twist (like the French toast pictured).

It was nice to find a new brunch location in downtown Durham. A quick walk from the farmers market in Central Park.

The Molletes was excellent! Great new brunch spot in Durham. Grapefruit mimosa is refreshing.
We went in for a late dinner, expecting average bar food. WOW were we wrong!
The food is outstanding!!!!! The brussel sprouts were flavorful, crispy and delicious. The salad with gouda and arugula was a perfect balance of greens, cheese and dressing. The salmon was crispy skinned and perfectly cooked -- moist without being raw.
The Thai meatloaf sandwich was Thai spicy, so be aware, but tender and tasty.
The night we went (Thurs 9:30p) The salsa party was cranking up, at which point it was a little loud for conversation, and the energy of the venue was a joy.
Eat here, it's worth every mouthful!

Held a private event at Flying Bull with about 40 people and everything was perfect. Great space, wonderful staff, and amazing drinks. Highly recommend their espresso martini, which has a cooked marshmallow on top.

What a wonderful evening. The food, drink and service were excellent. The Bone Marrow was delicious. The Double Smoked Old Fashion and Ex-Presso Martini were delicious, also. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Nice selection of craft beers and wine. The large sharing size of bread pudding was soooo good.

We selected The Flying Bull for the welcome party of the wedding between my son and fiancé. Anna was so easy to work with in planning appetizers and drinks for a group of about 50. It lasted three hours and people kept partying and had a really great time. The service was excellent. Kate was very prompt in getting drinks to everyone and had a good system of numbers to identify different drinks. The craft beer is delicious. Everyone commented that the food was so tasty and creative and we had a big selection to choose from for the menu. They set up the salsa room with tables and chairs on the sides. It was ideal for us to bring together the wedding guests on the first night so they could get to know each other and be in a cool place in downtown Durham. Thank you, Flying Bull for a most memorable night!

Came to celebrate a special occasion and was left disappointed. The restaurant was out of quite a few items on the menu - no steak, no chicken, no brussel sprouts. We would have appreciated the wait staff telling us that before ordering drinks, so we could have gone to another restaurant nearby. The staff also tried to seat us at a tiny table at the back of the restaurant near the emergency exit, even though the restaurant was nearly empty.
