Fantastic place. I was on a long road trip with my dog and really needed to get some work done, which required wi-fi. I couldn't find a single place that was dog friendly (indoors on a 90+ degree day) and also had Wi-Fi to get my work done. But Foster Street coffee came to the rescue. They are dog friendly inside, have Wi-Fi, have comfortable tables to sit at, really friendly baristas who made me feel welcome, and one of the most delicious flavored iced teas I have ever had. Will definitely return if I come through the Durham area again. Thanks Foster Street!

Service and atmosphere are good, but there is so much better coffee nearby. Liturgy and Cocoa Cinnamon both serve fantastic coffee.

Coffee was boring, tasted off, and the atmosphere - not even remotely cute. Feels like they brewed it out of obligation. If disappointment had a flavor, it would be compared to the two lattes I have tried from this place. Save your money. You’re in Durham, too many real options available.

I went on a Saturday after farmers market and regretted choosing to have coffee here, especially with so many other options around. I’m not exaggerating when I say it took forever to get our coffees (the owner should really consider investing in more machines). The wait wasn’t even the worst part, the taste of the coffee was terrible. We ordered a chai latte (horrible), a mocha (horrible), and a latte (it was okay).

I don’t recommend getting anything here.

Visited Friday Jan 3 around 3:15 in the afternoon. Sandwiches in the case looked really nice + good selection of non meat items like yogurts, granola/protein balls and chia pudding. Coffee menu is great. Ambiance is super cute.
Giving a low review due to the horrendous attitude of what appeared to be maybe the supervisor on shift. The young man working the register potentially has some sort of learning disability. Love to see Fosters hired this person. However the girl who was floating behind the counter was incredibly rude to him. She barked at him to remind him to write the names on the receipts. Person in front of me had a very easy name (4 letters) but he couldn’t get it down. He was obviously flustered and embarrassed (even asked the barista for help with the spelling) however she never offered to help him. Instead she kept repeating it to him with an attitude. Eventually she just yanked the receipt away from him with a big huff and puff. Afterwards she was just stomping around behind the counter. It was so sad to see someone with such little compassion and really ruined all of the good efforts the owners put into this place!

I am so disappointed at this place. I use to come all the time until last week. I was sitting down doing some work inside the care and saw a HUGE cockroach crawling next to me. I am not concerned of cleanliness of this place.

Awesome space, very comfortable chairs and ample space. Quiet except for music which I wished would be more moderate. Latte very affordable $4.50 for a small and it is a generous size. Asked for little foam but still got a lot of foam. Maybe next time. Coffee is very good.
