Been a patron for decades. Most important is how good the food is. That is what brings us back. Most of the time the staff has the right attitude. But then again, I know it can be challenging to deal with some customers.
Always bustling on a Sunday morning
Neat concept for dine in or take out eating. Creative cuisine.
We move to Durham recently and it only took one visit for this place to become our neighborhood weekend breakfast go-to.
They have incredibly kind staff, are family friendly, and are always warm and welcoming. It truly feels like a community focal point that welcomes all and serves decent affordable breakfast.
We are excited to be come “regulars”!
Foster's is such a fun and relaxing place! Food and service are outstandingly great!
Delicious food.
A little expensive, and they don’t have public wifi. But great atmosphere and great servers, and the food was delicious and filling.
Foster's is just a great place to eat.

excellent service, great atmosphere & management
I am a sucker for a specialty grocer type place. They seem to be more cafe oriented than a market per se, but all the food is great, the staff are friendly, and it has a great overall vibe. I’ve only lived in Durham for like two weeks and I’ve already been here like five times.

This is a Durham staple, and I’m reminded every time I stop in of exactly why it’s been around for so long. Great variety of food offerings for breakfast, brunch, or lunch and delicious pastries and cakes. There are odds and ends (like a general store) you can purchase and ample seating both inside and out.

The ordering/ food delivery system could best be described as "organized chaos" but the workers, especially Quinn, are extremely friendly and professional, so I guess it seems to work fine. The design of the building is inviting and the food assortment while on the higher end, is outstanding and well worth it; especially since they provide local vendors within RDU a place to sell their products. Lots of parking and overall a very great place to visit and support local.

Love this place! Great food. Lots of options. I love their system because it leads to fast service. Barely any wait for food even when the place was packed.
