We have had a few meals here and this one was good. There were a couple missteps in my opinion — the beef ribs were large and could have been cut up a little smaller, especially since you are picking up by hand. Other than that we enjoyed our meal.
I love Ethiopian food and really wanted to love this spot. The flavors are amazing but unfortunately the portion size is incredibly small. I ordered the veggie plate and was upcharged $6 to add on another veggie item instead of a cold side. No issue on the price but the portion made it robbery.
The main entrees were good, as were the sides (beats, sinig karya but didn't actually eat the jalapeno, etc). Got zilzil tib beef (was dryer than expected but the buttered onions were great, metin shiro was good, yemisir kik was great, gomen was good. The injera was too sour and mushy, but with the main entrees it was fine. Plenty of food to share for 2 people ok if you get 2 entrees. Service was pleasant and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and well located. ...
