The Durham Guglhupf experience was okay, and sadly not much more than that.
I stopped in for a fall lunch and chose a cup of yellow split pea soup and a Ruben sandwich. The soup appeared to be a lentil vegetable soup. It was tasty and not what I was expecting. The sandwich appeared to be made with deli sliced corned beef, much like you would expect from a grocery store selection. Again, the sandwich was okay, just not up to what I was hoping for

Great place to enjoy a good meal with family or friends.It can be quite crowded during lunch time. Need to order your food at the counter and they will bring it over to your table. Service is friendly. The food is delicious. The bakery has an amazing selection of bread, cakes and pastries. There is outdoor and indoor seating.
