“I usually LOVE this place. But the food has been very inconsistent lately at the Troy, MI location. I get the same thing every week. And every week it’s a little different. I get the mixed platter. Last week there was no sauce, and I always order extra on the side, but the little cup was only half full. So, no sauce on the platter, and barely any on the side. This week there were more onions than gyro/chicken. Barely any meat; very meager portion. And still, side of sauce only half full. Super disappointed. I’ll give them one more chance, then I’ll have to stop giving them my business.“

“I wish more people would visit this place, it's a gem. They have a wide variety of hard-to-find ingredients and food products from the Middle East. The place is very clean, and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. They even offered to order something for me that they didn't stock. When was the last time you had engaging customer service like that?

If you are a cook or chef, you are going to love this place. Looking for reasonably priced sumac? They have 4 different brands for sale. Looking for a specific flour that is almost impossible to find? They have half an aisle of them, and you don't have to buy a massive amount if you don't want to.

They have a really good preserved olive section that I'm excited about trying in the future. Also, I want to spend more time looking at their refrigerated section.

“Got a takeout order from here and it was great! Tried the dragonfruit lemonade, Punjabi by nature bowl, and the paneer burrito. All were very flavorful, and desi spicy is definitely spicy 🌶️. My partner got a normal spiced dish and it seemed good for her (she’s normally a 2 out of 5). It’s great fast casual Indian food, and I like it better than a lot of the sit down Indian places here. Seemed like they have nice seating too, so maybe I’ll try dine in next time.“
