I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My biggest complaint is they do not accept cash. One of the many restaurants that lose a lot of revenue because of this policy. As a business owner, I understand it is not convenient, but customer service rarely is. Raise the bar.

1st visit ever to this fast-paced restaurant and I’m hooked!! I had the Protein Bowl chockfull of deliciousness, double herb roasted chicken, bacon, black beans, corn, roasted red peppers, and goat cheese with honey habanero dressing on the side. Hooked! I’m aiming for the Hot Honey Chicken Bowl on my next visit. Every item was fresh, food area was very tidy and the staff have created a well-oiled machine. Everyone plays a part in this action movie! They are all speaking the same language moving in unison. Team camaraderie came easy for the shift I was on so I imagine that’s just how they roll.

It can be hit or miss. We’ve learned to not order ahead and just order there so they actually give you the appropriate amount of food. We like it still though, but we’d go somewhere else if there were similar options in the area.

Happy + Hale is one of my favorite spots for a fantastic lunch! The Buena Bowl is my go-to—it’s packed with amazing flavors and a punch of goodness that never disappoints. Occasionally, I branch out and try other items on the menu, and I’m always impressed by the quality and taste. The service is consistently excellent, with a friendly and welcoming staff that makes every visit enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for something fresh, healthy, or just downright delicious, Happy + Hale delivers every time!

I went into this restaurant this morning around 11:30am and received poor service. Initially when I walked in I didn't see anyone at the front counter so I waited patiently. Then I realized an employee was at the counter she just didn't see me because she was too busy on her cellphone. When I finally got her attention she had an nasty attitude. I can only assume she was mad I disturbed her looking at her cellphone. She definitely shouldn't work with customers as she has absolutely no customer service skills. I'm sorry but when did restaurants start letting employees have their cellphone at the counter where they are preparing food. Do better Happy and Hale.

First visit. I just got a nice smoothie. However, there were two times in which an employee saw me and walked away to do something else or talk to white people. It did not seem like it’s abnormal for her to do that from the way her coworker took over but glanced at her while she pretended to be busy doing something else. I received service, but you have people who blatantly don’t want to serve or talk to black people. She did it to a black man waiting in line, too, while she went out of her way to strike up a conversation with the same white people that she spoke to while ignoring me. Seems like she burdens others as they have to multitask to get more done while she makes a big loud display of who she wants to ignore and who she wants to be polite to. Hopefully God will change her heart and mind.
