The chicken is good but that's about it. Serving portions have gone down and the dinners are not worth the price. BBQ is on the salty side. I threw away my cole slaw ;had way too much mayo in it. It will be a while before I return.

Service has been great on my visits here however the food is subpar. Mostly straight out of the can style food that’s been warmed over. The price is not equal to the quality. I’d recommend Bullocks or Q Shack if you want better quality food.

They are quite deceiving in their special menu post. Catfish or flounder WITH popcorn shrimp implies that shrimp comes with the meal, not that you pay extra for the shrimp.
If you're paying extra for the shrimp it should read: "Catfish or Flounder WITH popcorn shrimp for an additional price."

All about the BBQ. Counter service, not table service. Some very 'vintage' tables and seating. But if man, the BBQ. Truly Hog Heaven.
BEST BBQ and homemade sauce in Durham. Mac and cheese wasn't great. Chicken tasty but greasy. Update 6/22/24 Saturday Waited 25min for a bbq sandwich and fries and it was lukewarm, bun was dry and crusty and not worth $12+. Restaurant was empty and not busy.
