If you like home cooking. This place will not disappoint. I thought my momma could cook. I had fried chicken, turnip greens, and black eyed peas with hush puppies. I promise every mouthful was delicious.
Get there early so you can try the banana pudding and cobblers. They were out by the time we arrived. My Brunswick stew was good. All the food was good not great. The restaurant is a an old time country restaurant. It’s a little tired and dirty on the inside but it kind of fits the vibe. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Quick affordable southern food. Pork chops with the brown gravy is where it's at! Fish is always on point. It is a bit of a ride for me, but always worth the trip. Make sure you get there right after Sunday service since they close early on Sunday.
Plenty of veggie options as well. I rarely leave with only one plate. Quality of food choices can please all of the appetites at your house.
