Food is always top tier. Wait staff is very kind. (My waitress was the shorter female with a bob cut, she’s AMAZING!) She made a recommendation to try the lemonade, and I will be back because of her kindness and the lemonade! P.S GET THE LEMONADE ‼️
This morning me and my husband decided to try this diner and absolutely did not regret it! All the staff that greeted us were very friendly, our waitress Casey explained the menu and was very patient with us. Our food was excellent. I also noticed how accommodating the staff was to everyone. The manager seemed very hands on which I appreciate seeing. You don’t usually see managers out on the floor, but he was there making sure that everyone was happy. We will be back tomorrow.
We came with a group of 4. The food was late and we received the wrong order. Not the servers fault, but when the owner (Will?) came to our table he was incredibly unpleasant. Shame.
Terrible food and the owner is a really bad person. Would not eat here again.
Went here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! The staff was lovely and on top of everything and the food was amazing. My spouse got the western omelet with some wheat toast, he loved it and practically cleaned his plate! The Belgian waffle with pecans was amazing and the eggs were so fluffy and delicious, the bacon was plentiful and cooked perfectly. For all the food we got, it wasn't very expensive which is a nice change. We will definitely be coming back again!
Let me preface this by saying that Hope Valley Diner has always been one of my family's favorite spots to eat. We love going there for brunch, but the rest of my family also loves dining there for dinner. The past couple of times have been really disappointing. The coffee was cold, I ordered an egg white omelet cooked well-done and received whole eggs, and there was a lipstick mark on my coffee mug (I don't wear lipstick, and I was able to rub off part of it with a napkin, proving that it wasn't a permanent mark). None of this was our server's fault, in fact, Katie was (and always is) exceptional. I know she wrote my order down correctly, made fresh coffee, and comped my omelet. She is a great waitress, but the food quality was sub-par, I received the wrong order, and the eggs came out still clucking. I was particularly grossed out by the dirty coffee mug (see attached pic). I hope things improve.
The food is bad but more importantly the owner is awful and they way they treat their staff is horrendous. Please do not support this practice.
Live it
Excellent friendly service. Eggs and omelette were very good
The menu pretty much forces you to do everything a la carte. They should have more combos

I understand busy but it is important when told to wait for host to be seated that the guest is acknowledged at some point.
I stood in an open dining room while 3 staff members attended other tables, checked out tables, even cleaned and bussed tables.....and NO ONE SAID A WORD to greet me or let me know they would be with me shortly.
After 4 minutes (I timed it), I chose to leave and bring my business elsewhere. Based on reviews I was already unsure, but this solidified the fact that customer service is not their strength.

I had the fried chicken and it was not done! When I complained, they gave me a free dessert. That was my last visit there!!
Great food and very good service.

Awesome chef salad. They did change their fries and I prefer the old ones, but the food is so good.
