What’s the rush?? The food here is phenomenal and 2 years ago there was a host at the door that would seat you. Now it has been a ffa seat yourself-order by the QR code—type of establishment. They are in such a rush to clear table the bust boy was asking for my plate even with half a slice still in my hand!
If you would like to try the amazing pizza this place creates, would highly recommend ordering out.

Overall, the restaurant was nice. The restaurant lets customers sit themselves self, and going on a busy day was a struggle to find a table. The food was good. I ordered the fried chicken pizza. It is a great place to hang out with friends. Food and drinks came out incredibly fast for being a busy night.

Love the atmosphere and service but the pizza has gone downhill. Not sure how people give excellent pizza reviews. The crust eats like a cracker. Brittle and dry. No chew at all.
Toppings and sauce are good but too dry and crackerlike to enjoy. Change the crust and I might come back.

probably one of the best pizzas i’ve had. it was the dough that really made this pizza great. super thin, yet the crust is well risen and airy. great crisp and toppings were equally as delicious.
i recommend the grandma pie and the vodka pizza. their ranch is also delicious.the lamb birria pizza was still good but not as good as the other two.
it’s all order through phone which is pretty nice. staff and atmosphere was great! would love to come back.

Great visit with group of 7. Tried several different appetizers and pizzas and everyone was happy and full. Service was prompt and building was clean and well taken care of no issues. Would recommend, the parking can be a little tricky but plenty available in area

Really good pizza, among my favorite spots in Durham. I like the QR code ordering and the outdoor seating.
Hutchins Garage doesn't sound like your typical Italian restaurant. I can say the Grandma Pizza was spectacular. We also shared the Burrata Salad. Burrata cheese was really good. I will return to Hutchins Garage.

Easily a 10/10 pizza spot in downtown Durham! Very easy to find, with convenient parking just up the road. The atmosphere gives off nostalgic, good vibes! It’s self-seating, and you handle everything through their QR code. I grabbed my own to-go box since I wanted to save some for the next day. A lot of people were choosing their to-go option as well (you can park out front if you’re picking up). Did I also forget to mention their pizzas can be made vegan-friendly? ? I got the hot honey pizza, and it was exceptional! My boyfriend and I have found our favorite pizza spot!
