I’ve been to this Insomnia Cookies location twice now, and unfortunately, both visits were disappointing. Each time, I encountered the same employee who seemed annoyed from the moment we walked in. (It appears to be a Trans worker) They were unfriendly, unhelpful, and acted like we were an inconvenience just for being there. No greeting, no patience…. just a bad attitude all around.
As for the cookies… they were mid at best. I was expecting warm, gooey, fresh-out-of-the-oven treats (especially since that’s what Insomnia is known for), but instead got cold, hard cookies that felt like they’d been sitting out for a while! More like a box of rocks than a box of indulgence.
Definitely not the kind of service or quality that makes me want to come back. Disappointed both times.

This is my first time with INSOMNIA...I liked the oatmeal walnut choco chip, my daughter liked the birthday cookies. Not happy with SALTED CARAMEL tho. And I had to RE WARM the cookies....it was not a Warm delivery

I came here a few weeks ago and the lady at the counter seemed super annoyed to be there but the cookies were good. I kinda figured it was just because it was a lil late and it was busy.
I came today the same lady was behind the counter and was as equally annoyed even though the store was empty. There was a guy there who was nice though. I wanted the peach cobbler cookies to which i was notified they were sold out. So then i asked about the apple pie cookies, same thing. They said it was summer seasonal and they won’t be coming back. But they’re still on the menu?? I ended up getting a single fried ice cream cookie and for FOUR DOLLARS it was a tiny cookie that was just alright, but it was basically just a snickerdoodle with no cinnamon.
Im super disappointed in the customer service and incorrect menu here, plus the actual cookie itself being 4+ dollars for something so tiny.
I do not live in durham but frequent often and don’t have an insomnia where im from, we only have crumbl. I’ve been to insomnia in Charlotte and it was fire so just wish it would’ve been here too.
Also, the parking sucks which wouldn’t be a huge deal if the customer service and pricing was better, but it isn’t.

Honestly this is my favorite place to go. The cookies are to die for and the staff is so kind and considerate😊. The manager is always so nice when I come in. 10/10 I absolutely recommend this place.

Ordered through doordash. Estimated time was 30 minutes. An hour later — nothing. Called the store and they said “yeah, we’re busy. You are one of three deliveries and the guy just left “. Ok whatever rude people. Your cookies are great but your delivery times and customer service suck. You have lost a customer so maybe you will be less “busy” now.

I had sugar and snickerdoodle. The sugar was not warm and soft. The snickerdoodle was delicious. Warm and soft with every bite.

ordered off doordash and came fast. the double chocolate is so good especially for chocolate lovers. it's so crispy and chocolate y. the brownies were ok but not compared to the double chocolate cookies !

Great cookies delivered warm. They also gave me a free coke with my name on it which is super nice of them, I’ll definitely have it later, didn't wanna have it with the cookies and get a crazy sugar rush. Thank you Insomnia Durham!
