saturday march 31 at 1:55 we got there and they close at 3, even their website says 3. we got there and they still had the open sign on and me and a other group of people were waiting outside and the woman said they were closed. if y’all are, y’all need to update your hours online. and if they weren’t, y’all need to hire new employees that aren’t lazy and will actually work until closing rather than an hour and a half before closing. RIDICULOUS!! the ladies there always have attitudes as well and act as if they hate their job and it’s an inconvenience to be there. y’all need new, better employees that want to work and aren’t lazy and will work until closing. if y’all close at 3am y’all need to work until 3am and close at 3am, at least until 2:55 at the LATEST!!

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SERVICE!!! I ordered through Doordash, but the store processed the order through their system. They messed up my order, which was ice cream and a cookie, and ice cream and a brownie. I recieved just a brownie and cookie in a box....for $35. I called DD for a refund but they couldn't it due to how the store processed the order and said to call the store. The manager claimed I had to go through DD for the refund. DD double checked and said they don't have the payment info to process. So no I have tonwait for an email from the company. Their cookie and brownie def weren't worth the headache. Mediocre, at best. Take your business elsewhere. *the one star was required to post. They get ZERO stars.

Got a text from “Brandy” saying my order had been cancelled and I would be refunded because the Doordash driver didn’t show up (like an hour after I placed it). I wish she would’ve let us know sooner as we would’ve picked up the order. Offered to pick up and she said no. My husband and I are in Durham for his cancer appointment and we’ve ordered from Insomnia Cookies multiple times at other locations for other oncology appointments- we were looking forward to these cookies and were so disappointed by this!

First time I ever gave insomnia a bad review but hey here we are . You ever get that feeling when someone is lazy and doesn’t want to work ? Or you walk in and the employees make it seem your a burden for so much as coming into the establishment? Well this is the the place . I came inside after ordering from a next food establishment before my travels back home . One employee either off the clock or on break was I. The lobby on his phone. He walked to the back to notify another employee of my presence.. after she came out I greet her and she immediately says “ if you want cookies you gonna have to wait at least an hour and a half for everything because I threw it all away). Mind you it’s in the middle of operation hours mid day and you threw everything away ?! Do better guys

The only good thing was the peaunt butter cup, and the girhadelli, both deluxe out of the 12 cookies we purchased. Don’t buy the classic from here, they are burnt, misshaped and just not good. The employee originally didn’t put 2 of the purchased cookies in our box. We had to call and turn around. An inconvenience considering there is no parking near this store and the only option is paid parking that is a walk. It’s a shame because this insomnia cookie used to be worth the paid parking and walk.Also they were only taking online orders just a heads up too.

I have order from this place several times and has always been happy with my orders but today was terrible I spent 35.05 on my order including a tip I order 6 cookies and a pint of ice cream I couldn't catch the driver before he pulled off so I call the store and asked for the manager he was quick to say she's not in and what I need her for because he may can help me I told him what I order and I just received my order and I only have one scoop of ice-cream and I paid for a pint and can he give me a number and I will take a picture and show him he had the nerve to tell me he made my order and he put 3 scoops in and I'm telling him it only one scoop he act as if he never been wrong in his life....it's sad that I paid 12.50 for one scoop of ice-cream ....if I had a car or knew someone who would take me back to show him I would have...12.50 for a scoop of ice-cream

The cashier Nikka/Niqua was very rude and combative from the beginning of the order. She had a dismissive attitude and charged me for 3 cookies instead of 2. When asked can I get a refund she told me “she couldn’t or didn’t know how to”. I asked for a manager she told me they were gone. I asked if anyone could help she replied “what you want the driver to come do it?”. I asked for her name she said it really low and when I asked how to spell it she said “sound it out”. I was using the cookie box with my order to leave my contact information and she begins to raise her voice asking for the box back to take out the cookie she charged me for. She then takes the box in the back where I can’t see what she’s doing to the order. I didn’t trust it because she was irate and disrespectful the entire interaction. I was trying to get someone in management contact information and she’s cutting me off saying “are you done, because I have some other stuff to do in the back”. This was a very unpleasant situation.

Worst insomnia cookie in history. They are locked up and ignoring customers and it is currently 12:56 am. They should be closed down and removed. There is no reason that they should be closed this early without the proper signage. They don’t pay their staff enough and if Shannon is still the store manager it makes sense as to why they are short staffed. She is deplorable. Former workers have confirmed this unfortunate circumstance.

I love the vegan birthday cake cookies if I get them from the store myself. But if you order cookies for delivery, they're never on time, and they're often hard and not warm. I've placed several "30-45 minutes" orders that always take at least an hour and a half. I've also placed two in-advance orders (ordered yesterday for today at 10pm) and it's 10:30p now and the cookies haven't even left the bakery. I called at 10pm and the woman told me at 10:04pm that the cookies were out for delivery and would be here soon, so she just lied. Their tracking system is inconsistent and the cookies don't arrive fresh, even though I'm minutes from the store. It's always disappointing to want cookies and then have to wait forever to get them. One time I didn't get them at all. I love the cookies but hate the delivery and customer service. So, three stars.
