Loved it! Enjoyed every moment!!! The food was fabulous 👌🏽 👏🏽 👍🏾 😍 ❤️🎉
First time visiting the restaurant and would go back. We had some great food and they had a great drink menu.
As usual, we dined here prior to one of the Broadway Series shows at DPAC. The food and service was fantastic! It is our 'go to' restaurant before a show!
Food was ok. I had the Cajun eggs Benedict with salmon cake. Wasn't Really a salmon cake. Was really a piece of not flavorful salmon. English muffin was not toasted so was soggy and sauce was rather meh. Aperol spritz was $15 and not super tasty. Hash browns were delicious. Bloody Mary was tasty.
I ordered the fried chicken sandwich & fries. Everything was well-seasoned and fresh. The staff were friendly but they were understaffed, which caused long wait times.
Great food and love the feel of the place. Had a wonderful service who was very attentive. Would recommend
The ambiance is good and well-decorated. The service was slow and not very attentive.
We were seated at the bar high tops even though we had reservations for a standard table. Plan to sit close to other parties if you choose standard.
Portions are small - 7 small wingettes for the appetizer. The wings had a good flavor but were overpriced for what you get. The country steak was flavorful and the collard greens were seasoned. The lemon drop from the bar was great.
Go for the drinks and ambiance but Saturday night dinner was not a hit. I would go again to try the Sunday brunch. The parking is expensive in the nearby lot that connects to the apartments/condos. Paid street parking is available.
Me and my cousin met here on a Thursday night for dinner. We had the fried green tomatoes, mild wings and crab dip. All were delicious! Their fried green tomatoes are my favorite with the pimento cheese and bacon jam. 🤤🤤 And the drinks were great as well. Jessica at the bar is the best. She made sure we were good, checking on us often. And she told us about brunch on the weekends with the unlimited mimosas. Which we will be back for very soon. Would highly recommend, 10/10!
The staff and facility were good. The food however not so much. The mac and cheese for the kids tasted like slightly buttered noodles. The main entrees for the adults were over cooked (charred burger, and chicken tougher than leather), even the Caesar salad tasted off (spoiled salad dressingor horribly home made). Not sure if they were having an off day.
Amazing restaurant, staff, and the BBQ staff was some of the best and I’ve ever had! BBQ pulled pork was awesome! Mac and Cheese was delicious! They also have great daily specials on food and drinks. Kendra took care of me and was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in the Durham area.

It’s a Southern Thing” feels more like “It’s a Southern-Inspired-Thing-We-Saw-on-Pinterest.” The food’s not bad, but somewhere a biscuit just rolled its eyes. If you’re craving grandma’s cooking, keep driving - unless you drive a Prius and watch MSNBC. Then this place might be for you.
Jessica was our server and bartender. She did a great job with our margaritas, the food was good and she was a lot of fun! She took great care of us !
I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and crispy Brussel sprouts and was off the chain really really good
This is our go-to place when we attend events at DPAC. Fewer than 3 minutes away. Food and drink are on point. My favorite is I Hate Tequila, Said No Juan Ever! Highly recommend! Reservations and dining early are your best bet.
Service and food were good. The wait time for our food and for our check were too long but an overall nice experience
