I tried J & J's today on a whim because I was in the area. I had their 2 Item combo with fried wings and fried catfish with max n cheese and collard green and slice bread instead of hushpuppies. I also got an order of their banana pudding. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I had to pull over in Brier Creek because I couldn't wait until I got home. You could absolutely tell the fish and chicken was fried to order and we'll worth the 15 minute wait through their drive...
I was so mad that I couldn’t chew faster because I was so ready for the next bite. This was some good food. I had to take a nap after eating. I got the large oysters with fries and potato salad (two starches.) I also got a side of their fish fries. They were so good.
I used to live in this area and was excited to be on that side of town again to order a combination plate. I know inflation has gotten rough and I know Seafood isn't traditionally cheap, but $15 for four scallops and five oysters with two small portions of sides it's just a little bit much for me.
