Kahlovera Street Tacos (Durham)

Amazing street tacos! And randomly I was craving burger at the same time. Also amazing but the absolute beat was the ice cold strawberry drink - so delicious!!

The juices are delicious!! The service was good and fast! The tortillas rip very easily which made it messy. It’s far from the tacos in California, but definitely better than Taco Bell… I recommend to try and see what you think.

We had the pastor torta and the Freida fries, they were both delicious! Love the sitting area with the food trucks around it, great atmosphere!

VERY VERY good food but I don't like how I have to get my own sauce during covid.. very unsanitary other than that this place has the best tacos

I don't even remember the names of what I ordered, (which I feel terrible about) but my taste buds sure didn't forget! ..... This .. food... Was THEE BEST Mexican food truck food I've EVER had!!!!! The loaded fries...... HANDS DOWN THE BEST I EVER HAD PERIOD and they will lay you out!!! My friend who is Mexican recommended this food truck and she even said, "this is sooo good!" It's not located in the best spot, but it's worth going and waiting in line if there is one.? Stamp Approved!

I've been to this truck several times. The food is great! Today I went and the food was good as usual but when I tried to use my MC debit card the guy taking my order stated it was illegal to use a card without a chip! I told him that wasn't true! He tried to tell me that Walmart doesn't even accept cards without a chip too! I told him that wasn't true either and he shouldn't quote the law if he didn't know what he was stating wasn't true! So I went online and this is what I have for them!

We had steak, shrimp and chicken tacos. It was tasty , clean meat and delicious. It was little pricey.

Delicious food and drinks!! It's nestled in a space with 3 other taco trucks. There's plenty of seating and the space is cleaned a d wasn't too crowded.

Also serving is Burger 504, Carnes504, Get Cracking. All 4 food trucks on site. Also serving is myself, Dave's produce.. selling farm fresh, fieldgrown fruits and vegetables.. we have watermelons, cantaloupes, honey dew melons, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, plums, pears, grapes, pineapples, tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, jalapeno, cucumbers, onions just to name a few?

I really wish this place was better for vegetarians. My husband loves their food, so I go along with it. And there salsa is great. But, my vegetarian meal is consistently disappointing. Today, I got two vegetarian Tacos for $4.50 each. $9 at a Taco truck should be enough food to fill you up. It wasn't. The two Tacos filled about one quarter of the Styrofoam container. There was a spoonful of Beans, a little bit of grilled vegetables and some avocado. There wasn't even cheese! And, to make it worse there were bits of an identified meat in one of my Taco! (maybe chicken?) it wasn't a lot, but obvious that they hadn't cleaned the grill and the vegetables and chicken are cooked next to each other. I paid $9 for 6 bites of food that I had to finely pick through to get rid of the meat.There are some obvious ways to make this food better for vegetarians. Add cheese! More beans and more vegetables! Maybe rice or something else? If you keep the vegetarian tacos so small, you need to charge $2 for them like the other tacos on the menu. My husband's $2 asada Taco was much larger than my $4.50 'vegetarian' Taco. 4 would be enough for a meal. I'm not going to pay $18 for a Taco truck vegetarian meal.

Honestly probably some of the best tacos in the east coast. If my friend from cali says they're comparable to cali food trucks then i know its legit.

Great spot to grab a meal. The Honduran truck has great ribs and porkchops. The burrito is also pretty good.
