I gave her $136 for an Easter dinner that she cancelled on me literally the day of. She reached out to me stating that she had a family emergency and of course being understanding I just accepted the refund offer she extended. I tried reaching out to her multiple times starting 5/1 because I havenβt received the refund. She would respond with one message each time telling me that my refund was on its way but still no refund. Today is 10/20 and STILL NO REFUND. She has a few court cases against her for doing the same thing or worse to other people. Now she is dodging being served by the sheriffs and still have not paid any money back.

Kales kitchen overrated. Ordered fried fish with mac n cheese and collards. First off that heavy plate mess must have skipped me cause I had a regular side portion plate. No bread no bun nothing served with the fish. Mac n cheese was okay. But the collards was dry and not seasoned. I'm just saying 30 a plate?? Just tighten up.

I love to support my BLACK OWNED BUSINESS and I want rhem to prosper. My 1st time at Kales Kitchen. The line was out the door so I thought ok this must be the place for some good soul food. Upon entering the restaurant the atmosphere was ok. I ordered the fried chicken plate with mac & cheese, collard greens and a side of yams. My husband ordered the sticky wing with Mac & cheese and baked beans. 1st thing the food looked good, but the chicken was to dark, the collard greens had no seasoning and they forgot to put baked beans on my husband's plate. ( we ate at home) we forgot to check our order b4 we left.
Great food, way too pricey. Need economical food & lunch menu, or maybe even do half sizes for the price they charge.

I ordered catering (this is my account for reviews) and spent over $400 and it was a mess from start to finish. The food showed up hours late, missing items, and what did arrive tasted stale and unfresh. It flat-out ruined my party.
I asked for a partial refund, and after dragging her feet to respond, the owner simply stopped following up. Thatβs unacceptable customer service.
If you care about your event or your money, Iβd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I do not recommend. I am in the process of suing her. I put in a preorder in April for Easter plates for 136.52. The day of Easter she reached out to me via text and let me know she couldnβt get the plates to me because she had a family emergency. I was super understanding because life happens. She promised me a refund and it is now July22nd and I have yet to see my refund. They stopped responding to my text after being patient with them even after months. Itβs the principle of things at this point. Lawsuit in the works.
The. Food here is amazing I love the portions literally 3 people can eat off one plate. The owner is amazing and has such a great spirit about her. I see great things happening for this establishment in the future.

No set hours of operation.. here now at 8:48 doors locked... no info on days or hours open on any social media platforms...and website linked does not work.. can't have new people try ya food if ya not clear on time ya going be there and menu. Disappointed an hr and half was wasted
