Today I was so excited to take my daughters boyfriend to experience Kanki. I have been here many times with my business and politicians years ago. I made reservations and was completely respectful. The waiter was pushy about how fast we ordered. We had not even had time to look at the menu (5 minutes - look at the video) but was pressing for our drink and appetizer order. We complied anyway as I looked at the menu before I arrived there at the establishment and just wanted...read full review
The sushi was pretty good, but it is very clear why this place was not packed. The service is very poor. The servers in the bar area are more concerned with socializing among themselves than in the customers seated in their sections. Delicious food, our chef Mozart was hilarious & incredibly entertaining. The wait for a table was reasonable & the environment was top tier. We highly enjoyed our visit & will be back!

Kanki Japanese House of Steaks & Sushi is a restaurant where customers can enjoy delicious food and great service. The Hibachi chef provides a fun show and excellent food, though some customers have experienced long wait times for drinks and chef service. Despite occasional shortcomings in service for special occasions, the overall experience is enjoyable, making it a place worth revisiting for a celebration or a regular dinner. The restaurant offers generous portions, with some customers able to make two meals out of a single visit. While the restaurant can be expensive, with meals costing over $50 per person, the food is highly praised. However, some customers have found the constant birthday celebrations with drums to be disruptive, and not all have experienced the same level of entertainment from the Hibachi chef.
