We had a reservation for 9 people. There were only 3 tables total. It took over 40 min for someone to take our drink order, then another 30 before they took our order it was an hour and a half before we even got food. We just sat at the table the entire time. The whole thing took over 3 hours, it was awful. I got up 4 diff times to get drinks, or silverware, etc.
My daughter had a really nice birthday dinner along with our family. The service was great and the food was delicious!! 10 out of 10. Will be going back
Overall, very enjoyable atmosphere and food. Everything from the drinks to the food to the staff's demeanor was top tier! Thank you!
This used to be the best place to have a great and filling meal, now not so much. -server was super slow, was checked on 1 time after drinks were delivered. Soup and salad came after the chef started at our table. -food servings have been drastically reduced. The shrimp “appetizer was hilarious. My husband even told the chef that the shrimp were looking pretty puny; the chef didn't even acknowledge his comment. - the food itself wasn't great. My entree was overcooked and tough and the rice and veggies were pretty bland and tasteless. For a family of 5 adults spending more than $200 without tip, they need to do better.
Review: 4/5 Stars Overall, we had a great night at Kanki. The atmosphere was fun, and the food was really good—especially once the cook got started. He was very entertaining and made the experience enjoyable for everyone at the table. However, it did take almost an hour before a cook was assigned to our table, which felt too long. My salad had way too much ranch dressing, and the soup wasn't hot when it arrived. Our waiter was okay, but it took a while for her to check in on drink refills. Despite the slow start and a few minor issues, the hibachi experience and the food made up for it. I'd come back, but I hope the service is a bit more prompt next time.
Even though we had a reservation we had to wait about 20 minutes while we waited on an available chef. Once we were seated the service was great and our chef was personable and our food was good.
Service was terrible. Got drinks after 15 minutes and never again. Everyone had empty drinks before the chef came to the table. He never returned to offer us refills or second orders from the bar.
We went for dinner for my son's birthday, as the chef started cooking at our table, he was not giving our son any of the food. Turns out his list did not have my son's order & the waitress stated she put it down. The chef stated we should have told him what my son got but it is his responsibility to know what everyone is having. We spoke to the manager & she brought my sons order out after the fact, they bring him sherbet & they sang happy birthday, they also gave us 10% off. This was appreciated but still my son missed the whole experience of why we go to Kanki. Of all the people at the table, they messed up the birthday boys meal! We will not go back.
We made reservations for a party of six to celebrate a couple of family birthdays on a Friday night. The two ladies at the hosting station were not very friendly and very non-communicative. Although we were on time for our reservation, we still had to wait about ten minutes and were not told anything about our status. We had to ask them two separate times what the hold up was or how much longer we would have to wait. Mind you, they were not very busy and there were plenty of open tables, not sure what the hold up was but neither host member openly communicated what was happening. We waited off to the side while they did nothing. Our waitress was just ok and rarely checked up on us. She disappeared for long periods of time which was annoying. We asked her for things and she forgot two different times and we would end up having to ask a separate employee (for example, we needed one more plate, needed more napkins, or needed more water). The only positive about our visit was our chef, MOZART!!! He. Was. Absolutely. Amazing.!!!!!! The best chef!!!! He turned our frown upside down and had us constantly entertained and laughing. He was such a joy and very energetic and you can tell he loves his job! The table next to us had such a boring chef who was barely interacting with his table so we were so glad to have gotten Mozart. I give him 1000/100 stars!
Me and My family went tonight and the food was horrible, I was told this place is very good to come to but I wouldn’t recommend. service was ok I had to remind our server about a lot of stuff, The place wasn’t even that busy when we came in I would’ve understood if it was busy, 2/10 NEVER AGAIN

It was just ok.
Our chef was not very interested in actually creating the hibachi experience! He was quite blase about what he was doing and not at all entertaining. We were seeing all the other tables being entertained quite handsomely with lots of fun and fire which we have come to expect here. It was a disappointing day for sure.
Waited 5 min at the gate to be taken to a table, then waited 20 min for nothing. No water, no one to take order. There was absolutely zero server in the entire dining area. Stay away from this terrible place!
