Outstanding bar and the perfect compliment to Queeny's upstairs. In fact, the first bar of its kind that I stepped foot in as a Durham resident. It is to me, the standard all other bars are compared to in the city.

Morning Glory - the best cocktail in Durham, hands down! My other half will work his way through the whole menu, but I'll stick with this while scarfing down the chicharrones. Great friendly staff. A blast whether you're sitting at the bar, at the tables, on the couch, or with a larger group in the little cubby tables.

2 drinks and greasy cheese curds $52.27
Drink was less than half filled once I took the block of ice out. Way too overpriced.

We went last night and it was exactly the kind of place we've been looking for in regard to atmosphere, intimate and cozy, you could hear the upbeat music but it wasn't too loud, you could still have a conversation, we sat at the bar and Robert took great care of us! We tried drinks from the menu and then told him what we liked and let him surprise us, every drink was a hit, especially the vodka pear gimlet! I'm not normally an ice cream girl but he is and I always try it, I woke up thinking about the chai banana pudding ice cream and searching for the source online. I kept going back for more, it may have been the best ice cream I've ever had. We also ordered the fries with powdered cheese, they were fine. It would be nice to have a few more options/small plates but we will definitely be back. We talked to some really nice people next to us and the bathrooms were really clean. Very much looking forward to going back. Thank you for a great date night.

This is a top notch bar! What a cocktail bar should be. Drinks are always creative and delicious, and if you don't find something on the menu you like (which is a shocker), they have a lot of hidden gem bottles to make you happy.

Good cocktails, comfy atmosphere, nice pet-able walls in case of anxiety

Phenomenal cocktail bar! We got seated pretty much immediately at the bar late on a Friday night. Super nice vibes and tasty cocktails: smooth but still reasonably strong. I also appreciated that they weren’t outrageously priced even for some of the signature cocktails - would definitely come back to try more of the selection! There was energy but never felt too crowded - do note that there was 20% built in gratuity.

Hard to know if the drinks were any good (they sounded awesome & so unique) because we sat down for 15 minutes without any service, finally got up to find a waitress to place our order, then waited another 45 minutes before leaving without ever getting our cocktails. The place wasn't very busy so that was confusing and they also were out of a ton of ingredients/cocktails which we were bummed about (but not as bummed as not being served at all).

the Tuesday night jazz here is usually when im a customer at KF. dimly lit vibey basement- Excellent bands (the usual drummer is freaking insanely talented). variety of seating (although is does get crowded). drinks are very expensive (but this is pretty much everywhere in town, so not really pricier than any comparable spots), and they have a very nice non-alcoholic beverage selection for our non drinking friends. haven't been here on a weekend or tried the food, but definitely recommend checking out, and if you love NYC-quality live jazz, its every Tuesday evening.

Great cocktails and Durham’s hidden Tuesday live jazz club.
Fantastic mixology cocktails and fun atmosphere to sink into and enjoy your company.
Go check it out!

Cool place but drinks are expensive, plus be aware of the 20% auto gratuity on your check they don't mention. You're already tipping $4-$5 per drink

Probably one of my top cocktail bar in the area. Really love the rotating seasonal drinks and partnership with local establishments for pastries to accent the drinks. The atmosphere and the service are top notch.

A super fun drink menu, amazing atmosphere and live jazz — low lighting, very intimate. Not very big. Wonderful time!

Brilliant drink program focused on local spirits and ingredients. Complex without being too pretentious. Excellent whiskey list. Service was amazing without being doting. Try the chicharones.

Honestly, just a shockingly overpriced visit. Each cocktail is $16.50. Are they good? Yeah they are tasty, but very very small, very light on the alcohol, and then as others have mentioned a mandatory 20% on top of it. 20% is one thing for service, but 20% of two $16.50 cocktails? That's another $7. And god forbid you want more drinks.

It's a very cool atmosphere, but was the service top notch? Not even close. Apathetic and slow at best. Honestly just crazy overpriced. I'm embarrassed I spent that much.

The food is pretty good, but they have no business charging $17 for cocktails. We went and there were maybe 4-5 tables and waited 15+ minutes for our second round of drinks. They’re small pours and although tasty not worth the price. It was also smelly? Maybe because we were next to the kitchen door but there was a musty faint but fowl odor.
